Just thrown this together. Draft 1
No Salah was a difficult decision, backing Nunez to make his mark this year under the new system at Liverpool. McAllester also will be a close watch during the friendlies as is Endo.

Gone with this team now. Constant changes but i think Im getting close. Experimented with Foden-less teams and many changes to my backline and F3 but im bullish on Wood and my backline behind TAA will be whoever looks like having a chance of attacking returns and/or a favourable run fixture wise.

Carlos Miguel might be Forest's No.1 GK. But he's cheaper, so no probs. Just be awake for team sheets.

Nunez already left his mark... on a Colombian fan's face. He's going away for a long time, I reckon.
Any ban from Conmebol will likely see it served in EPL too. Would make Gakpo a good option.

Can we address the elephant in the room? Arijanet Muric.
No CS for BUR, but over 10 games, averaged 8. Better than any GK.
The guy is a misc pts beast, and what a shot stopper. Has saved 8 /26 PKs.
With Haaland and Salah first up, a great hedge against them getting their PKS.
Now at Ipswich, he's also a product of CIty's Youth academy.

Can play on the left

BBC

Calafiori started his career as a left-back who could play further forward, but mostly featured as a central defender.

He could compete with centre-back Gabriel or left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko for a place at Arsenal, who are thought to see him as an option for both positions.

A lot of defenders with Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko, Timber, Tomiyasu, Calafiori, White and Kiwior

Yeh the horrid first two fixtures. Could save a transfer taking him from the start and eat any 0 or positive score before he averages near the top.
Negative scores can't come on field if you loop.

Yep. But as well as not getting negatives, his lowest was 3.
Even when he conceded 4 against NUF, he got 12 pts.
He got a PKS, so even if he didn't save it, a loss of the 8 pts and a further -2 for another GC, he'd still have scored 2 pts.
Then you think about all the times Ederson did nothing, but conceded 1 goal, and also got 2 pts for appearance.

BUR rarely conceded more than 1, so that helped. Didn't lose pts for GC, but racked up an avg of 6.3 SVs per game.
With City and Pool, he'll likely concede more than one, but will also rack up the SVs.

He smells of Henderson a few seasons ago. Got a couple of PKS and the odd unexpected CS, and went 20+.

Really liking this team. Pity I'm $10k short of being able to grab a $3.75m DEF, but some fair options at $3.5m.

Potentially 7 premiums, so really only need 5 more.
They'd be Palmer, Foden, KDB, Bruno & Porro.

If they can stoop lower, and my cash cows come home at the right time, could succeed with minimal transfers and boosters.
Would then be a great position to be in heading into DGs and byes and the end of the season.

It's a plan, but everyone's got a plan until they get punched in the face.

Saka is now listed as a FOR, so he's a miss for me. 16 goals and 16 CS means he'll get 64 less pts, so is overpriced ATM.
Bowen on the other hand, has been changed to a MID. 16 goals and 5 CS means he'll score 42 more pts, so he's undervalued ATM.
