One to watch is Anderson, this is from their preseason game just gone:

The Reds took the lead inside 15 minutes as Elliot Anderson’s deep corner was headed back into a dangerous area by Wood, and there was Yates to head in from close-range for 1-0.

Olympiacos got themselves back on level terms on 24 minutes when Costinha found Gelson Martins who broke into the area and found the far corner after cutting inside.

Forest were back ahead before the break though as Olympiacos goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis failed to connect his punch with Anderson’s cross, with Wood in the right position to acrobatically convert from close-range.

Forest added to their lead on the hour mark when Anderson’s free-kick struck the post, with Wood keeping the attack alive and finding Yates who nodded in for his second goal.

Not sure he would have taken the free kick if MGW stayed on, but sending in balls from the corner when he was on.

Thanks. Struggling to make a case for anyone over $5m not named Alexander-Arnold or Bradley as a starting defender but not playing around with defender heavy structures also does not help and thus considering lots of sub 5 million defenders such as Maasten, Barco, Bassey, Pereira, Justin, Davis, Martinez, Hall, Livramento, Milenkovic, Sugawara and Hardwood-Bellis.

I think it's like 48-72 hours after they get dropped from a team or added. I ended up grabbing Savinho aswell as having him in the midfield to cover their mistake. One will end up removed or end up a donut showing *** and I grabbed Summerville to cover the midfield if needed.

According to my calculations (first 10 rounds) Liverpool, Everton, Ipswich and Notts Forest have good fixtures with Arsenal, Brighton and Wolves the toughest runs. I'm considering a different approach due to - up to 5 free transfers and banking on my squad to hold out for decent periods at a time. That way I only need to properly assess the fixtures 4-5 times during the season.

I'm not saying do this, It's just my method this season. It's a lazy men's approach, but allocating time is important with AFLW, BBL, and NBL fantasy coming.

I have Fraser from Wolves (poor fixtures early), I need to find another cheap 4.5 FWD

Maasten - Villa have a lot of DEF options. Is he nailed? Fixtures don't look good.
Barco - Played last season with Estu out. Is he nailed? Baliba an alternative? Set pieces with Gross gone? BRI have tough fixtures.
Bassey - Starting to look better after a few scotch and cokes. Got 16 against United last season.
Pereira - Big spike potential. Usual back to back. Has got to over $10m in most years. Literally the Elliot Yeo of EPL.
Justin - More expensive, less potential. Good value, but wouldn't double up on LEI DEF as cash cows.
Davis - Unproven, but 18 assists in Championship last season, and that price, ya mad not to take a punt.
Martinez - Subbed last season in games and missed the CS. But shocking misc pts.
Hall - Good if nailed
Livramento - Good if nailed
Milenkovic - Like Martinez, poor misc pts. Loves a card too.
Sugawara - Really like him. Right age. Did well in Eredivisie. Can get attacking returns and misc pts. Looked good in pre-season.
Hardwood-Bellis - Prefer Sugawara, but if funds are an issue, not the worst option.

Tempted by Quansah as my Liverpool DEF exposure and then Gvardiol or Pedro Porro as top defender. Feels weird to go against TAA but i dont mind the idea one bit. Trying to find a good mid for less than 6.2Mil is what im searching for currently. Barnes/Elliot/Tielemans are probably the main candidates but none of them are screaming pick me.

James is injured (was banned anyway)
Stones won't start
Not sure about a Bournemouth defender
Grealish might play at the weekend but long term is ?
Carvalho won't start (better cheap options)
Fulkrug might not start either. Forwards too weak overall i'm afraid.
Sterling not a definite starter (see teams just after midnight aussie time on Sunday)
