What was interesting, was that Carson came on for Ortega and Ederson was left on the bench.
Usually that happens when a deal for a transfer is significantly progressed, so they don't risk injury to the player.
The player still tours though to keep up their fitness to be ready for the club they transfer to.

Was always going to be in my DT as his price is normal.
But FPL is just too hard. That price is prohibitive.
Even though I can see 40 pts in GW2 for those that have him and capt him, his opportunity cost is just too great.
You'd have to risk 2 cheapos, and if you get them wrong (highly probable), overall, you're at a loss.

West Ham with a decent signing in Summerville from Leeds. Big step up but scored 20 goals with 9 assists in the Championship last season..

Pacey player. Still young, but lots of potential. Definitely one for the watchlist.
Hopefully he misses a few weeks and becomes a downgrade option when it's time to upgrade.

Highlights of the City vs CHE game.

Haaland's first two goals were just poor passes you won't see come GW1.
I'm not taking much out of this game.

Phillips and Gvardiol at CB also.
Pep gave away nothing. It was just a typical pre-season game.
Have players run around to get fitness and give folks the thrill of watching an EPL team cos they can't afford to travel to a real game.

Niclas Fullkrug is one to watch. 3 great season in the Bundesliga with Werder Bremen and Dortmund.
A decent UCL and Euros last season too.
31, but I think he's ready for a season in the EPL.

Now that we can hold up to 5 transfers, I can just change captain every week and re-assess at GW4.

Unless I have missed something the following players have barely kicked a ball in pre season yet:

Foden and KDB (Pep has already ruled them out of the Charity Shield),
Gordon,
TAA,
Saka,
Palmer,
Eze,
Bruno,
Darwin,
Watkins.

Plus the knock on effects of other players missing, for example, Gvardiol played LCB due to other CB's not being available.
