They were interviewing one of the Pies players (Quaynor I think) on Triple M on the way home and he was asked about rookies/younger players to watch. Macrae wasn't mentioned. Guessing he's not in Rd 0 plans at this stage.

McInnes was, but looks like he hasn't played in Q1 either.

I honestly can't see him being anything but the sub for most of this season barring injury. I'm not sure he's that lucrative as a SC pick just yet, certainly not on the field.

I'm treating Reid like any other rookie priced player that I would want on field. I don't see him as an automatic selection just because he was a number 1 pick and how talented he is.

His first match was obviously underwhelming but this next match will be a lot closer to the real thing. If he shines in a role which is conducive to decent SC scoring for a rookie priced player then he will remain in my team.

Otherwise I will give thought to switching him to a Windsor type if they look the goods in their match this week.

Windsor and Wiilson both look good trig maybe Waatson also

Obviously bad signs for Fin. I expect he'll play a half or a quarter for Mitchell (or JDG) later in the game but clearly on the outer.

Surprised Pies went with Ash Johnson over McInnes (although potentially that could be a for a half only too)
I'd pick Reef if he was in the Round 1 side, even if they went with Ash Johnson Round 0.

Not fantasy relevant but also thought Ross would be one of the three wingers. I guess they've gone Graham as the 3rd winger as Pickett/McIntosh/Ross are all pure wingers so maybe can't fit all 3. I'd take Ross over any of them though.

Lucky we get a Round 0 game for Collingwood as Richmond are leaking a lot of fantasy points in this one, not that great an indicator.

Heard that pies are playing first half with best 23 (minus Howe & Pendlebury) and then will change it up second half.
Appears that Macrae isn't best 23 at the moment and Ash Johnson is preferred to Reef based on that

Garry Lyon is shocking at pronouncing names, Called Thomson Dow, Thomas and Mykelti Lefau, Myleki.
Shouldn't a commentator make an effort to learn player's names?

Most of us will be watching his next run closely. Still prefer him as a option to Windsor, I feel JS is better.

Sexton will be a lock if he does get the touted HB role, Wilson I have squeezed onto the MID bench for now.?
