451. What a way to end the season with 3 washouts in 8 games, representing 14 score involvements down the drain for me, not to mention a few more as a result of changes to planned trades. However, all of us playing the fixture hard were caught in that boat.

It didn’t matter in the end, but I ran out of time trying to trade Narine out because I was wasting time with no confidence on who to trade him to as I wanted to open up PODs on first. I doubt that I even got close to him given a number of SGRs he was holding leading into the round scored well.

429 all out. Absolute killer of a last round - I don't think you could draft more difficult circumstances for fantasy if you tried:
* First game, when the team on the double locks out: no toss, but the covers were coming off. Rain returns after lockout and no play is possible.
* Third game, involving two teams of consequence, is threatened all day long, but ends up going ahead in full
* Final game, featuring two DGR teams from the previous round, is washed out and because it's the last game nobody can react to it!

Add to that Head getting a peach first ball and a lot of people will have no captain score at all, myself included!

He made the starting XI 😀

Looks like they were going to have a 7 aside game and then it rained again.

KKR won the toss and elected to field.

Could have been some fireworks if DreRuss opened.
Thanks again for the invite mate.

Next season.... Woosie's Lefties and Ben's IPL XI, that'll probably be Dad's (85) team, are keen to battle.

My pleasure , pity real life gets in the way of your decision making.

Certainly will have a spot in the League for you and your Dad.

Hopefully we get up to 25-30 involved next year including Big Focka (and Little Focka)

Shami will be the value starting pick for next year 😀

IPL will be interesting , time for another mega auction so Squads will be vastly different

seeya both for BBL SC

Well that was certainly a disappointing end to the season.

Thought I set myself up well enough after the rain for the first game then more rain comes for the last to completely ruin that

4 RAJ & 3 KKR so can only imagine what might have been.

@Diabolical has gone past me so wait and see if I can hold onto 3rd , massive congratulations the man is a machine 🤗

Well done to everyone for a great season , look forward to doing it all again next year

461. Was ranked 33rd overall, might just get into the top 30? Very fun but shame about the washouts to end the season. This was my 2nd season of it and first time i took it seriously and im already looking forward to next season! Great to see the amount of SCS representation up the top of the rankings.

Bad luck Herbie, that final game washout cost you more than me. If it went ahead, you would have finished ahead of me.

You had a great play looping Head off the bench, particularly given it may be likely that first had the C on him. You gave yourself a great chance to close the gap, but the weather ruined an otherwise great season for you. Now take that form into the BBL!

Cheers

One trade for Bhuvi

One trade to throw a dart at Rahul

Meant I needed to save one just in case (thought KKR would rest Russell (or Starc) , wasn't expecting both Bhuvi & Head giving me nothing off the bench , once the rain looked like it was settling in decided to trade in Parag and hope for something.

A season of what could have been , mentally draining

Rain certainly put a dampener on everything 🤗

Pretty happy to have got to where I did after that disaster of a round where I can 570th !!!

Come back and do it all again next season

Yes I need to take a different approach in the BBL , less involvement in what others are doing, sit quietly in the background and focus on my own team 😀

Just curious

Who were you going to trade Narine to ?

Just realised you also traded out DreRuss.

That’s what was doing my head in and I ran out of time doing last minute stat checks in T20R. It needed to be a bowler and I was going to wait until teams were announced to decide who … probably a death bowler from team bowling first, alas teams never came before lockout.

Klaasen 99, Abhishek 91, Reddy 72, Cummins 25, Bhuvi 0, Head VC 0.

Took Klaasen and Reddy’s scores off the bench. Kept Shahbaz’s 3 on the bench.

Narine C, Samson, Russell, and Chakravarthy left.
374 all out
Got Shahbaz’s 3 added on field with the DNPs.

Wow, what a way to end the season! Can’t say I expected weather to play such a huge part in an Indian competition. Shame for @Diabolical and @Herbie66, basically ruled out any possibility of giving 1st some worries.

Same thing happened in the BBL. I remember I had 7 Thunder players (who were on the double) and my rank tanked hard after rain affected games.

Personally, I was 13th at the end of last round. Shouldn’t slip away too far from that. Ranked 18th in my first season last year so a nice steady improvement on that. Hopefully I can keep improving next year.

Edit: Dropped to 17th. Up 1 spot from last year

Huge thanks to all those that provide information and team selections, especially @Herbie66.

Well done to all, not a way to finish a round, let alone the competition.
Finished on 303 with 8 players left stranded in that last game.
Ranked 130th, lesson learned, jump on Narine earlier, need to work on that cash gen. Thank you to all that contributed especially @Herbie66. 3 top 10 finishes by the looks and others in the top 20.
Looking forward to next season.
