Don't be too hard on Allen.
Today the only WR/TE he'd ever thrown to before this year was Kincaid: Diggs and David are gone and Shakir is injured.
You can't expect his passing game to be what it has been.
Yeah. It's lack of decent targets. Don't think he is worth keeping tbh.

Josh Allen injury: Buffalo Bills quarterback evaluated after head bounces off turf - Yahoo Sports

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen took a hit and went into the medical tent against the Houston Texans on Sunday.

Allen was brought down by his legs and his head bounced off the turf after throwing an incomplete pass in the fourth quarter.

Allen stayed down on his side, rolled onto his back and was tended to by medical staff. He pointed to his chest and went into the medical tent with trainers and a neurotrauma consultant for evaluation.

The Bills defense recovered a strip sack on C.J. Stroud at the Texans' 15-yard line while Allen was being looked. Backup quarterback Mitchell Trubisky came in for one play, handing the ball to James Cook for no gain. Allen returned from the tent, put his helmet on and went back into the game. He threw two incompletions and Tyler Bass made a 33-yard field goal to tie the game at 20-20 with 3:18 remaining in the fourth quarter.

Allen threw three more incompletions in the final minute. The Bills lost 23-20 on a walk-off 59-yard field goal by Ka’imi Fairbairn.

Allen said after the game that an independent certified athletic trainer who serves as a spotter in the booth called for him to be checked for a concussion.

"Big shot to the chest. Rolled my ankle," Allen told reporters after the game. "They flagged me for hitting my head, but felt good enough to go back in."

It's Allen's second straight week with an injury scare. He was slow to get up after losing a fumble against the Baltimore Ravens. Allen said after the loss to Baltimore that he aggravated his lower back hitting the ground but he'd be fine.

For a player valued at $23.8 million, Allen is not delivering as expected. I'm considering trading him, possibly for a Jackson or a Hurts, who is currently on his Bye week. However, I need to check if there are other players who require attention first, such as B. Hall.

Looks like last season might have been a spike year for Lamb. Prove me wrong, plz!
Maybe, but sitting out the pre-season may have had an affect.
He missed their mini-camp, their main training camp and the pre-season games.
He only re-joined the team a couple of weeks prior to wk.01 and that often seems to be detrimental to early season form.

I think that shows in his catch rate.
Last year he caught almost 75% of passes thrown his way; this year he has caught only 62.5%.
That figure is bolstered by his 7/8 last week. In the other 4 games it is 54.5%

There is another aspect to his scoring last year that tends to be over-looked.
He started the season slowly and it was only after his wk.07 bye that he was dominant.
19, 39, 15, 25, 13, 30, bye, 69, 45, 67, etc etc
Now compare this year: 22, 34, 13, 39, 17.
Note that his scoring through the first 5 games is better this year: 111 vs 125

Then there is his SOS. Last year he had a very good post-bye SOS.
According to the Sleeper platform his opponents were rated: bad - 2; good - 2; very good - 7.
His post-bye SOS this year isn't too different: bad - 3; good - 2; very good - 6
I know that may not always result in good fantasy scores but it is an indicator.

I'm not saying that his post-bye scoring of last year wasn't an outlier; I am saying that I think it's too early to tell.
Hopefully his scoring will turn around after his wk.07 bye.
If it does he'll be at a very juicy price.

Thanks for that. I shall remain hopeful that his formline improves from here.
