Only traded Stewart in a couple of weeks ago, but will prob have to trade him again at his bye. Went with his scoring history, but I'm seeing some signs that I don't like. That deliberate out of bounds would never have happened in years past. He would have swooped on the ball and kicked it to a teammate. Maybe lost a bit of pace, and confidence. Dropping some marks he would normally take as well. Couple that with the strange reason Geelong seem intent on having Duncan and Holmes take kick-ins when they are playing midfield and Im not sure he is going to ave above 90-95 this year. Really disappointing.

Bont 186 :eek::eek:
Daicos VC 156x2 :cool::alien:
Dale 132 :love:
Freijah 66 :confused:
Sullivan 61 :confused:

Don’t recall seeing as big a 4th quarter in a close game as Bont’s in a few years. Earned every single one of his 80 or so points. Daicos huge himself but outshone by Bont. Disappointing to lose 30 points on Bont who was my other VC candidate but you can’t blame someone who scored 156. Has thrived with De Goey, Mitchell and co out. Dale slowed down a bit but still finished on a big score. Collingwood had 7 behinds in the first and he was feasting on the kick ins. Freijah and Sullivan both solid but I was greedy and wanted 70-75 out of them.

Steele, Holmes, Moore, and McAuliffe tomorrow. Quiet day. 19 on field with Clohesy and McAuliffe the rookies to come and challenge Sullivan’s 61.
12/1535 or 11/1474
Moore 169 :love::love::eek:
Holmes 133 :love:
Steele 118 :)
McAuliffe 68 :)☯️

Gawn, Ryan, Serong, Flanders, Rowell, Jackson, and Clohesy to come.

Moore, wow. Well I can't say I saw this one coming! Incredible game. Almost 100 by HT and then decided to show up in the second half this week. Takes his average in my side up to 96. Goes to show how putrid he's been before today. Great POD to have this week. Holmes came into my side this week. Great to see him have a chunk of midfield minutes again. First trade in that has posted a ton straight away in a month. Steele ended up with a good score, but it was far from convincing. McAuliffe was excellent in the first half with 69, then manages -1 in the second half. Would've taken a 68 at the start of the game but it could've been much, much more.

Came into the byes expecting this round to be my worst but it is looking great so far. Hopefully I can do enough to sneak back into that top 1k. Amazing what happens when your PODs start to click.

13/1341 captain yet to play. Lowest scores to drop off currently 55, 76, 80 and 81
55 was Dawson traded him in with a minute to go, not realising there was doubt on his fitness with a foot issue. Should have paid attention, unfortunately life got in the way. Hopefully it's minor and he'll be right for his next game.

9/1120 Bont

47% of my score supplied by 2 players. Steele the only other with a decent contribution.

Any hope of staying in overall contention evaporating quickly (if indeed they still existed) with only 19 playing this week. Can‘t afford ”premo” scores of 55 (Dawson) & 76 (Stewart).

7/982 Bont

Originally I was just going to do the two trades of Garcia and Sweet to Sullivan and Freijah to bank cash and upgrade next week. Was thinking a sideways of Richards to Moyle but wasn’t 100% certain so went Jones over Richards so it didn’t lock in the trade, didn’t have time to look for any info.

I’m not over the moon about paying up for Sullivan, role is kinda terrible however think JS probably outweighs it. Freijah was pretty good early but faded a bit, hopefully just holds until his bye.
7/982 Bont (still)

A rare day where I didn't own a single player, going to make for an interesting but hopefully entertaining Sunday. Fielding a bare 18 this week so hoping for no late outs.

If Fyfe is sub I'll reverse Jones back in for him and take the donut, banking cash for next week most likely outweighs whatever Fyfe will put up if he's sub. No way of getting Graham on field, could trade out Hore over Jones to get him on but I think he's a good chance at being the sub so not sure it's worth it if it doesn't end up counting. If he isn't I might swap him on for Sullivan depending on how the round is going.

Hope you had a good day, bring on Sunday.

12/1237 or 9/1068 with bottom 3 2x54 61 subtracted. Personally I thought this post was going to be a self loathing one about trading Reid out at the start of Rd4 when I saw his halftime 90, TBH if I’d brought in anyone else but Ryan it probably still would be, despite his woeful second half the kids a amazing talent and will be interesting how he deals with the tag moving forward, I jumped way to quickly off him, someone I did jump to quickly on instead of shouldn’t is Stewart, he’s burnt me twice now-last season by not having him-this season by having him! I might have to change plans next week I think and start shopping for a D7 with Ridley on the radar, I’ve played this game long enough to know the moment you dump a player they come good (refer to submissive Reid rant) but I just can’t keep taking these 70-90’s with the odd ton chucked in due to a 5min purple patch. Still on target to crack 2k which was my initial hope-although thoughts were briefly inflated after having Bont VC, but have been brought back down to earth now.
