I am struggling with the fact that the top rookie trade ins, Dowling, Kreuger and even Schoenmaker all have their bye next round. If I trade one of them in I am faced with more blue dots next week.
If McMullin gets a green dot this evening I might have to go down that path.
Or am I over thinking it? 🤔
Still think with a green dot McMullin is a sub risk unless I've missed something, and last game of the round makes that nasty too

Tough round this week.

Trac for Neale
Sweet for Downling

Garcia out has thrown me although the uncertanty with Bont/Daicos & Sullivan could see me dish out two donuts or more with Pink being a strawberry donut himself

Got 93K in the bank, may have to swing a late trade if numbers don't look good.

Narrowed it down (I think) to either Gulden or Zorko this round. Leaning towards Gulden for his BE and grabbing Zorko in rd 15...only challenge is whether I will have the cattle to downgrade / upgrade at that point.

could go mcmullin for rarcia for another warm body. Has good scoring potential(really high ppm) just whether or not he gets a game/not sub

Think I've finally settled on moves, Rankine in works much better for my setup and ensures I can hold Colby for his return next week waiting for the right time to pounce on Ryan which will have me full premium. Happy with the trade count, despite having quite a few meh premiums.

Clohesy Garcia Sweet > Rankine Dowling Kreuger

Ended up doing:

Jones > Krueger
Sharp > Dowling
Petracca > Dunkley
Clothesy > Whitfield

180k and 12 trades still, with final premo upgrade in defence next week.
No sense having Trac's cash sitting on the bench when it could be a no bye premo. Probably should wait for Merrett next week, but Dunkley is a good option. Sharp's been one of the best rookies, but his cash was needed elsewhere. Whitfield has been on my never again list, but at that price he's good value so what the hell.

Really struggling to figure out what my best way forward is over the next few rounds and would love some advice. Team:

1718340761925.png

Goals:
1) Get my final FWD premo (Rankine)
2a) Get a 23rd premo who can cover injuries with DPP
2b) Consider some slingshot trades

Potential trades:
Genuinely don't know what to do this week. Got 19, but risks on Bont and Naicos (who I will trade to Ryan if he's not named tonight). Trade out candidates are Clohsey, and then it runs fairly dry with Freijah and Reville having more cash to make, and Garcia/Rogers and below not really adding to the coffers. I was open to getting Rankine this week but I would need 3 trades to do that, and all of the ins would be round 15 bye players leaving me with 16 or 17 warm bodies going into next week.

Potential slingshot opportunities are Martin > Fisher/Clark, Oliver > Dunkley/Green, and (next week) Macrae > anyone. Kind of content to hold Oliver and give him a chance with no Trac, but also wondering if Martin > Fisher is a good move especially if I can move Dawson into the fwd line to create the loop.

Even at one point considered Livingstone > Kreuger - assuming Kreuger plays until rd 18 and then gets dropped, Pies have later games than WC in all but 2 of the remaining rounds. Even so, this is probably a waste of a trade.

Otherwise might keep it simple like suggested above and go Garcia > Dowling.

Questions:
1) Any thoughts on the use of a slingshot trade in my situation? Would it be more valuable than using trades to get a 23rd premo, or are there any other obvious trades I'm missing?
2) I've seen some people say they can use DPP to effectively cover all lines with a single 23rd premo. I'm guessing this is through having active DEF/FWD, MID/FWD, RUC/FWD loops, but can someone help me understand this? Maybe there's a world where if I get Fisher this week that then helps me get that sort of coverage.

Only 15 on the field this week but need a win. 40k in the bank. Planning to use 2 or 3 trades and the best strategy that will allow me to bring in Zac Merrett next week after his bye.
Wilson to Dowling or Krueger (can't decide between the two) and Clohesy for Whitfield. This would give me enough to trade Reid to Merrett next week. I am also tempted to trade Stewart since he is now being tagged each week but won't do it unless it leaves me with enough to get Merrett next week.

Appreciate any thoughts or advice.

Thanks.

Hard to advise on the best course of action without seeing the full picture (trades left, boosts left, remaining salary, side prior to trades, overall or league intention etc) otherwise it is easy to frame a preferred scenario without considering others.

Additional advice would be to find the trades thread for whichever round you are after via the homepage or the SuperCoach forum rather than creating a new thread for every post.

Is a M6-8 of Green, Miller and Clarry way too weak?

Who goes if it's just one?

Im tempted to trade Miller to at least gain 1 weeks score. But the only real option I'm open to is Gulden or Neale.

Or there is Zerret next week.

Or it's hold until a later date altogether

Make sure your rookies are off the field first and then assess based on number of trades, cash and form. Out of the guys you mention I would target Zerrett next week - I'm doing exactly that.

Am having serious demons here - have posted before but have a bit more clarity now. 1 trade left (8 in total) and 202.8K ITB).

Options are:
Hold Comben this week -> trade to Houston next week (large Houston price drop I would imagine and can't afford now)
Comben -> Sinclair/Whitfield (if I go Sinclair, have about 5k left ITB and a few upgrades to go).
Comben -> Rankine (flip Sexton to D6 and have about 5k ITB).
Comben -> Kreuger (would leave 440k ITB but would have 7 trades left. Would need upgrades for Kreuger, Sullivan and potentially Sexton on field would leave it tight).

It looks like I will comfortably win the league I am in this week as the opponent is projected 700 points less (killed with byes).

Any advice appreciated!

Rozee as M9 to see how his form goes could be an elite pick at low 400’s.
If you could do that I think you could play Rozee over any of the above 3 on a matchup basis (tagging mainly).
