Said earlier in the year that Walsh doesn't have a good SC game and it's playing out that way. He scores 100-110 when he should be scoring 120-130. Really regret getting him way back in Round 7 instead of going for a more dependable option.

I think so? Field umpire clearly called time before the ball was kicked. And I doubt they can change it now, the goal umpires will have signed off on the score!
McGovern telling the umpire afterwards and the umpire says 'ok', but his face said, I have no idea what just happened lol... Looked completely unsure about the rules.

real off at Tom Stewart scoring 59 in a half right after I traded him out :mad:. On the other hand, he's only had 7 disposals and 2 marks, not like that's much better than his usual numbers this year.

Walsh also going about as expected - 16 disposals and butchering at 56% efficiency for 52 points :sick:
Wouldn't be too concerned. He's been on this score multiple times the last few weeks and then fished up a 20 point second half!

I think this is the relevant rule below. However the original line of the kick was on an angle and Cameron clearly moved in a direction that improved his angle (ie he was moving closer to being straight in front of goal). Possibly another umpiring blunder the AFL will deem okay.

20.5 KICKING FOR A GOAL 20.5.1 Line of The Mark Where a Player from the Attacking Team is Kicking for a Goal after being awarded a Mark or a Free Kick, the Kick shall be taken along a direct line from The Mark to the centre of the Attacking Team’s Goal Line, except in the following cases:
(a) where the Mark or Free Kick is awarded within or on a line of the Goal Square, the Kick shall be taken from directly in front of the Goal Line from a spot horizontally across from where the Mark or Free Kick was awarded;
(b) where the Kick will occur after the siren, the Player shall be entitled to approach The Mark from any direction, as long as the location of the Kick does not improve the angle to the goal posts.

Anyone have the forward/ruck split for TDK? Any chance of a surprise for eligibility in a couple weeks?
He was heading that way but probably borderline a few weeks back, but then Pittonet went out of the side. His forward chances dropped away but his scoring has been huge!
