Another 50m penalty, where the player with the ball, and the team with the ball, weren't actually inconvenienced in moving the ball on.

The AFL really need to change this. It's a blight on the game!

Berry should have a case to answer for staging after being tapped on the back. This sort of crap should be stamped out

Sometimes it's not scaling, it's just catching up with missed acts.

I can't imagine anything more fun than collecting these stats (don't think I could give up my day job though, and would I then have to stop playing fantasy?).

How would I even try to remain impartial... lucky I am not involved in the stats collecting, huh? Would anyone really be surprised to find out that there were some shenanigans in the scoring over the years? I mean, what sort of impartial human can do this scoring?

Would me off to find out in the future that someone was riggin it, but, as I enjoy this a heap, until then, I will just complain and whine and hope that if there are some miscreants playing with the numbers that they get sorted out in the end.

Would anyone beyond fantasy addicts care enoughto do anything about a few misplaced stats?

Yes, sometimes. Can normally tell that's the case when they jump like 5 points in one go. When it is going up (or down) by 1 every min, that seems more like scaling to me.

Scaling and scoring would be algorithmic and not based on any whims.
Gamblers would be the only other group outside of fantasy addicts that care but I gather these overlap.
