I'm seeing McAuliffe named as a likely in from several coaches my question is, why do you see him as preferable to HGarcia who is the same price has DPP and has scored slightly better?
I would definitely grab HGarcia over McAuliffe. Personally I already went HGarcia last round.
Nearly typed this exact same response! I went early on HGarcia otherwise I would 100% have him over McAuliffe.

Triple down this week gives me 625k in the bank - Dempsey, Williams and D'Ambrosio to H Garcia, McAuliffe and Nyuon. Not exciting, but means next week I can pounce.

Ive got Stewart, Young, ZWill, Hore and Reid all probably missing next week so my trades will have to be to try and avoid a donut. Will swing graham into defense and bench Young in the mids assuming his hamstring is minor (he wasn't even limping when he went to the bench...). Then Zill out roberts back and Walsh in. Will need to bin reid or hore to avoid a donut which is really annoying considering i held them hoping they would come back in and be viable rookies. and then need to find 100k to fund williams to Walsh already have $109k in the bank).
Zwill-Walsh
Hore-Garcia
Sharp-Drury (maybe pending his score)
I'm bringng in Walsh (no surprise) but taking a big punt on Taylor Adams with Garcia (one of them) as the rookie. McCrae other option but when Libber comes back - he'll push out again I fear.

How does everyone rank the rookie bubble options this week? Think for me it is:

1. HGarcia
2. Nyuon
3. McAuliffe

There is also Conway, Drury, Tunstill and maybe even Mullin.

Like the DPP for HGarcia and seems pretty safe JS wise as well. Nyuon playing that defensive role has him slightly ahead of McAuliffe although both have shaky JS. Nyuon with Dawson returning soon and McAuliffe with Hopper and Prestia returning.

Think most will be taking 2 or even 3 this week unless they went early last week. And some may even go early this week on RGarcia.

Can anyone confirm when teams drop this round.
I expect Ric & Mel will be tomorrow night, but then do we get drip fed the teams?

I'd rank them the same.
I plan on taking the 1st 2 and boosting for a premo. Not sold on the Walsh trade, body needs to prove itself, by which time he'll probably be too expensive.
Think I'll pay up for Rowell, looks to be flying this year.

1. HGarcia
2. Conway (if named)

None of the others give me much confidence. Nyuon was awful yesterday - certainly put his hand up to go straight back out when Dawson returns.

Would you skip one of McAuliffe or Nyuon to grab a premium instead?
Looks like there'd be enough bank to do it...

Yeh I am going Garcia over Drury think his job security is better and is a seasoned player who's body shouldn't need rest.. Been tearing up VFL and Bevo wants these points of difference quicker guys in team I like his job security. I've waited until the right time and can get in Daicos and Dawson to with a trade boost.. only 1 left now but won't be able to get those 2 in this cheap again...

Powells run is over with North I ideally wanted to trade Dempsey instead but Needed to go a 400 + k guy to afford Dawson and Daicos upgrades... north running many mids through there now... my Horne Francis experiment is being aborted 2 weeks in more due to the fact I need to do it to get Dawson in.. some would call it a sideways trade But I don't think so... probably got sucked in to his few good games thinking he can do that every week... he probably will underperform a bit still against some top sides and on the road in games..

POWELL TO GARCIA
ZAC WILLIAMS TO DAICOS
HORNE FRANCIS TO DAWSON

will look at Stewart in a few weeks at a good discount and maybe Newcombe if yesterday was a bounce back game for him.. Wanted to get in Xerri for Marshall but in the end you only make 80,000 for a guy who will score similar in the long run to Marshall despite Marshalls shocker Thursday night

thoughts on my moves?? Dawson is a must with NORTH,PORT,BRISBANE, PIES (give up big numbers to mids) WEST COAST to come. Also already have Miller and Rowell in the middle for this week vs Eagles which obviously won't be as cupcake for supercoach scores with REID/KELLY/YEO looking competitive now but still a good spot for the gold coast guys.

Must admit I'm confused - which of the two Garcia's is the best rookie option and why?
Dogs Garcia is arguably more job secure* but also only played 1 game this season so you'd be going early. Saints Garcia probably the pick of the 2nd gamers this week

*Edit: just parroting Robbie Rocco above, haven't done my own research here

What are we doing with Rozee and (maybe) T Green? Do we hold? Are they both in the top M8 conversation? Contemplating a sideways move to a Butters (if I can close the $40k gap) or Walsh at this stage, but definitely feels like just point-chasing.

st kilda garcia gets a decent amount of cbas and with their poor performance he was one of the better players. dont think he gets dropped

whereas, we dont know what happens when libba returns for the dogs

im tossing up between biggie and dogs garcia as i went early on the other one
