First, Jones probably did enough to hold his spot (imo).
Second: Brown 188cm contested marking KPF, Jones 175cm small Forward.
Not sure one has an affect on the other, when it comes to selection!

Just figured the unavailability of a forward means that the tactics will change and offer more opportunity!

Bont and English outstanding. Means a lot in a week where Gawn has had a down game to have both rucks go 130+.

Disappointed with D’Ambrosio in the end after he got himself out of a hole. Hit his BE but probably needs to go now. Darcy unders as well but was planning him as an out soon, think he hit his BE too. Macrae recovered after a worrying start. 80’s aren’t exactly inspiring but it’s better than some of the forward rookies in my team currently.

Moore looking like a good in for the forward line now. Will probably be paying another 50-60k or so on top of his current price tag, but it should be worth it.

Great return by Stewart after a week off and look on track for a solid 2200 in a tough round. Considered Parish and Oliver (along with D Moore) when I was very close on trading Roberts due to the expected poor weather and thus poor disposal and kicking efficiency (was high eighties and low nineties for the season prior to the match) so a bit disappointing to see them both come out and score 140+. Could grab both next round to “finish” my midfield but is at the expense of Jones and downgrading Rogers to Simpson.

Ouch. Darcy and Comben sub 60, Roberts sub 60 and Moore, Parish and Oliver all going 135+ as possible Roberts replacements further compounded by the Fyfe out, which I could have capitalised on for a rankings climb but alas no Ryan.

183 needed from Miller and Clohesy for 2200. Given the circumstances will be very happy. Will be very interesting whether I go one of Comben/Darcy and Roberts to Jones and Oliver or try to sneak in Moore and Oliver.

Very happy to land the Cadman -> Moore trade. Didn’t get Wilson’s monster on the bench but shesh happy with Moore.

That said the alternatives were Dale and Oliver who both absolutely cooked as well. But I’ll take a hopeful forward premium over nearly anything atm.
