Gotta stop bringing in these rookies from the expansion sides priced over $125k. T Berry and H Thomas (post bubble) and now J Rogers (bubble). Should have kept testing my luck going early on rookies with Reville instead. :ROFLMAO:
Berry’s made 130k. I’m guessing you traded him early?

Been putrid tonight, but he’ll be moved on after some decent cash gen.

If we are patient I reckon Rogers will end up ok. Just a shame he hasn’t been able to to make much of an impact tonight.

From a neutral point of view, this has been an astounding effort from Brisbane to win this with 2 players down for the best part of 3 quarters.

Grundy responded to his poor game last round with a big one. Wilson HUGE. Great matchup and thought he’d score really well but definitely not this well. Will make some very nice cash. Steele good. Held on only due to the Green injury. Was expecting a 105-110 this week before resorting to a 90 average. Showed much more outside game this week so hopefully he still has some potential to score against harder opposition, but I’m still very low on confidence with him. Gawn disappointing as my captain. With McAuliffe playing VFL, I had the option of him as a loop when I didn’t think I would. This meant I could go Gawn into Serong like I originally wanted over Sheezel into Gawn, but after being on the latter all week I decided to go through with it. Heeney slightly down on his lofty expectations.

Looks like Yeo’s golden run has finally come to an end. Was looking the goods at HT on 62. Had a quiet-ish third term before being taken off for the last. Intention with the pick was always to flip eventually. Was rumours of a rest this week and I find it very likely he’s rested next week. Lots of things to go through but he might be on the chopping block this week while he has value. Sheezel very poor today. Not a midfielder yet and disposed of it poorly by his standards. Moved him to HB again. Reid quieter today. Maybe not the premium we dreamt of. Could still be the F7/M9 swingman. Roberts quiet and likely gone next week. Has been a very good rookie. Green unfortunate but what can you do? Just have to hope it’s not too bad.

Honestly don’t know how well I’m tracking. Carnage everywhere. Luckily most of my poor scores were from very popular players except Yeo and Houston. Wilson could be a nice leg up. Very interesting week, that’s for sure. This year has been relatively carnage free and there have been very, very little premo injuries. This week looks like the turning point.

Serong 137 :D
Flanders 128 :D
Dale 116 :D
Jackson 86
Libba 80
Graham 59
Darcy 49 :(

Ryan was monstrous today. Crazy score from a defender. Can’t believe how lucky I was that I started him over Stewart purely because I wanted to do Gibcus to Massimo in round 2 and needed cash. Funnily enough, I didn’t even go through with that trade. Serong big against a weak opposition. Only lost 26 points by captaining Gawn. Flanders great again. Such a good role down back and even when he went back to the middle he still scored so freely. Talking about good roles, I’m very happy I jumped on Dale this week. They look to feed him much more than they have in past years, at least from what I saw today.

Jackson meh as usual. Was hoping for more given the opposition and Darcy missing the last quarter and a bit. Libba has 2 weeks off and repays me with an 80. Becoming a real issue now. Had another head knock early and got studs in the head late. Very tempted to flip him. Losing points owning every single week excluding that one round he went 155 which feels like an eternity ago. Graham slightly under par. Poor night for the Suns and fielded over Clohesy which is a success I guess. Darcy underwhelming in a game I expected a big one.

2322 - Daicos.
Absolutely stoked with that given it includes Green and 5 rookie scores under 60. Only twinge comes from the what could have been if I’d backed myself on either the Biggy to McKercher or Darcy to Moore trades, but holding the trade and the boost felt like the right call given the uncertainty around Green’s injury. Given the scores I’m seeing this will hopefully give a climb from 550th!

Started the round with the Rozee injury on Thursday night and thought I was doomed to have another hell round. Dodged pretty much every other bullet since then and had a huge Sunday and earned an extra 50 points by switching trade plans which included bringing in new recruit Bailey Dale! A very happy hawk too.
