Hi all,

Just a reminder about the SCS NRL Promotion/relegation leagues for 2025. There is still time to register your interest by filling out the form below (it takes 2 minutes max).

Form link:
SCS NRL Pro/Rel leagues

So far we have enough for two leagues, but there is plenty of room for more participants. Everyone who registers interest will be entered into a league. After Sunday February 16, I will start sending out league codes, at which time the model (amount of teams promoted/relegated etc) will be decided. Any questions, please ask.
Final reminder to anyone who is interested in the promotion/relegation leagues - entries will close tonight, so please complete the Google form (linked above) asap if interested. From tomorrow evening, I'll PM all who have completed the form with league codes. Thanks!!!

Never played draft before but would be keen to give it a go if you're accepting newbies.
Accepting anyone and everyone!

I think there are plenty of newbies, so all welcome. I might be the "expert" and I've only played one season!

Going off team lists, it looks like we can lock in Toia, Purdue & Tass. Tamale is probably going to be a 1 game wonder. Finau might be a good cheapie but there's competition from Tuipulotu & Sloan there. To'a is in the cheapie conversation again but there's so much backline depth at the tigers that it's hard to predict, feel like their best 5 is Bula | Turuva | Doueihi | Olam | Skelton. Smith has a hip concern but might come into the squad and push out Nawaqanitawase for round 1.

Duffy is going to be the interesting one... Have Clifford in the background and he plays the week after Cleary and Hynes, so we have to make a decision early on whether to go two guns at half, or one with Duffy.

Yeah I have the same concerns regarding him and Purdue with Laybutt hovering around. If i start with Duffy, I will have 3 gun fullbacks and if he loses his spot after 1 or 2 games, will trade a gun fb down to Iongi and trade Duffy up to a Hynes. Might have to cough up some trades but it's a backup in case it does happen

Any interest in Koloamatangi now that Murray has gone down. Priced at a 63.3 average, played 10 games at lock last year averaging 75.8 and that went up to 83.5 in the 8 games he played over 60 mins. Just not sure if he'll get that lock role and the minutes under Bennett.

Is this the year of the 2rf cheapie?

B.Afoa 242k has looked good as an impact FRF over preseason.
J.Gosiewski 232k seems to have the jump on Piakura
K.Kautoga 232K again named to start in the 2Rf for Parra.
l.Halasima 232k, J.Laban 232k & D.Vaimauga 232k are all in the mix
M.Doorey 232k & C.Guymer 232k could pinch a bench spot at Parra
L.Hubner 232k named at lock for souths, could be a potential bolter
T.Fletcher 198K named on the bench for souths

I could see a world where all of these guys are playing in Rd1 or potentially two or three of them.

So how many are you taking?

Still regret going Doorey over Cartwright 2 seasons ago, think there was a 300k price difference in the end between the 2.
