Formalising this result from the event held last weekend.

The monuments this year, apart from Milano-Sanremo have all been very predictable, with Pogacar a clear favourite, and living up to it. The bunch sprint for third didn't work out well for most of us, except for Woosie, with Van Der Poel leading the bunch home, and a lot of our other selections finishing just out of the top 10. With six of us picking the winner, and nobody having a second rider score any points, this event didn't change standings much at all.
Results for the first few stages of the Tour de Romandie will be posted soon.

Tour de Romandie Prologue Results:
As already mentioned, the riders were only riding for around 3 minutes in a short TT. It's not long enough for skilled TT riders to dominate and the time differences shouldn't be huge in such a short stage. Not sure you can read much into this type of stage, but I was happy to score a 9th place, and score some points I wasn't really expecting to take the early lead.
Tour de Romandie Stage 1 Results:
A bunch sprint in this stage where none of our riders did much, as we largely selected those in the running for GC rather than sprint specialists. I honestly thought Aranburu would be a chance for the win here, which is one of the main reasons I picked him, but 7th is better than nothing. Everyone else yet to get off the mark, but the next few stages should see that happen...
Tour de Romandie Stage 2 Results:
Plapp made up a few seconds on his GC rivals after losing time in the prologue, which could be very handy if he has a strong TT tonight. He just couldn't out sprint the two riders who had been in the break, but the bonus seconds sees him in third in GC. Hopefully he can go on with it. Everyone now has points in this event, still anyone's to win from here.

Nice pick from Old Big 'Ead with Carapaz winning a tough stage overnight. Unfortunately he switched from Carlos Rodriguez late, and Rodriguez is the likely winner of the GC after finishing 3rd on the stage. Almost sure he's done enough for the best score in this event though, but haven't updated points, I'll update everything tomorrow after the final stage.
Tour de Romandie Stage 3 Results:
Dry weather for the earlier starters, rain later. Who knows who would have won if everyone had the dry conditions, but I expect McNulty would have been challenging for the stage win anyway.
Tour de Romandie Stage 4 Results:
This was the key stage for the GC riders, Carapaz proved to be in the best form out of them. Surprisingly few points awarded today, especially with a lot of us loading up on GC riders.
Tour de Romandie Stage 5 Results:
Bunch sprint finish, as expected. I could have picked a better sprinter it turns out, however nobody else managed any points from the two bunch sprint stages. There were a few of our riders who withdrew during this stage, but I won't list these, being the final stage.
Tour de Romandie Stage Final Results:
Not much in the way of points here - looks like we should have focused more on stage points this time around rather than overall.
Well done to Old Big 'Ead on the top score for this event. I was the only one who managed to score points with all of my riders, but nothing better than 3rd on any stage.
Current Standings:
Old Big 'Ead and Kiewa switch positions in the overall standings after that event, no other positional changes.
Next up is the Giro d'Italia, which kicks off next weekend. You will not want to miss this one - the points should end up being significantly higher than any event so far. This will be the 10th event of the season, so your lowest scores will start to get dropped off after each event after the Giro. Just a reminder for the Giro that you will be selecting SIX riders, and there are no restrictions on which riders you select.
Dashboards will possibly be updated later today, if not I'll try and get them posted just before the Giro starts.

Giro starts Saturday. Not many entries yet, but I did expect most to roll in tomorrow/Saturday. The startlist is finalised for all teams now if you were holding off for that before entering.
Bit annoyed that Aranburu managed a second place in Eschborn-Frankfurt overnight - needed that form last week! Van Gils won the race, good to see him get his first WT win, I expect he'll win more of them.
