I did think it a bit unusual you hadn't picked any of the 5 favourites. It's fine to this, could be a good race to do it too, as there's a lot of riders with chances tonight.

All eight regulars have picked, I'll reveal the selections once the race starts. Still time for anyone else to enter, the race starts in just under 2 hours.

Just a reminder that the Tour de Romandie starts tomorrow night.

My picks: J Ayuso, E Bernal, J Tarling, A Aranburu

That UAE squad is stacked, I can see nearly any of their squad as a legit GC chance. Possibly should have just loaded up on them, I did consider it.

Results for LBL and the first few stages of Romandie will likely be posted Anzac Day when I get back home, as I didn't bring my laptop this week. I think it was a 6 way tie for first last night anyway, from a quick look, nobody had more than 1 rider score points.

Thanks. Just clarifying the Yates listed as a favourite is Adam Yates, Simon has now been added to the startlist as well. I really should have waited on the final teams to be confirmed.

Change Tarling to L Plapp just for a bit of fun, so I can cheer on an Aussie.

Unfortunately I didn't pick up Almeida wasn't starting or I would have let you know. He may have been on an earlier startlist maybe?

Everyone cops a bit of bad luck due to the nature of the sport, and I kind of like that to make things less predictable. Not a huge fan of adding emergencies. The fact only your top 10 race scores for the year count to your total covers off when you cop the bad luck anyway.

Yeah agree... Cyclists crashing / getting sick part of the sport. For me, no guarantee that Lutsenko was going to score any points either.
