Think I will still start him , depends on how many Scorchers/Strikers you have to start and how many you are bringing in for their DWG , especially Week 3 when they and the Sixers have the DWG , I doubt I will bench Morris that round either.

Think he is a season long keeper , so my start side will be 4 Sixers , Morris , 3 Heat , 3 Thunder with Big Billy & Green on my bowling bench.

Hopefully we see Green at the bowling crease before Big Bash starts otherwise he is just another 4-6 batsmen.

I currently have Hales but may look at another Thunder option.

nah sorry I am not up to date with ground & pitch conditions , @Damion23 posted yesterday or the day before graphs about batting & bowling venues which might help.

I think @7/11 posted a summary of pitches/grounds last season so he might have more info.

I don't really want to pick Cutting - and don't think Lynn is great value - but both are in my side, if for no other reason than it's too much of a risk that they explode round one and leave you behind the eight ball.

I may end up losing Cutting. If Cam Green looks like he's guaranteed to play (looks pretty likely), it could be worth upgrading Cutting to Curran, funded by picking Green.

Re: the above - Tremain, Hales and Bryant haven't left my side.

I'd say go down on tremain to upgrade to curran without having to playing green on field especially if green isn't bowling.

Can you wriggle Swepson to Laughlin at all ?

I only just took Abbott & Cutting out last night/this morning.

done well to get 6 heavy hitters from the start + 5 value.

I actually like it more than my own side now (apart from I have Big Billy on the bench)

Sutherland could suddenly become more and more viable to start with Green.

I guess Cutting & Lynn pose that danger , one or the other looks the viable VC pick (or Khawaja).

Been looking at Bryant the last 24 hours over a few of the OS imports.

Heat , Sixers & Thunder are throwing up too many options to start with.

Tremain is interesting.

Current very preliminary team, I have no problem with a full on field DGW list as in Round 2 none of the teams have a bye or a DGW and there are 6 trades to set up for round three.

Took a while but managed it.

In the above team dependent on price changes R Khan, B Stanlake and J Phillipe could replace C Lynn, J Vince and A Hales which would make an interesting side for RD2.
