My biggest folly was setting up my team in expectation of a 5 over game. In hindsight with the rain staying away, I would have done things very differently

Not really IMO ... got lucky and I pay to watch T20 not T12 ...

Picture this, they moved the game to Melbourne, then they show a live picture of the scg... what do you do when you don’t get 450 overs of test cricket in a match?

More to the point, playing the final of your premier tournament in front of a quarter of a crowd is a terrible look, especially with all the noise they made about it being sold out...

I agree with this.

Genuine question: does anyone know what the IPL arrangements are in a similar situation?
