Is 5 Strikers too many? I'm deciding between Stanlake and F Ahmed for my final trade in this week. There's the potential I bring in Stanlake anyway before Round 3, but I think that I need to get a second Scorcher in rather than have 5 Strikers... Would love some opinions!
It would say it depends on the 5. I personally have 5 as part of my maximise DGW strategy. They are Carey, Short, Rashid, Agar and Stanlake.

I find that 5 from one team generally tips the balance. Personally, I choose a maximum of 4.
Yep, I think I've decided that as well. Looking at a trading plan, having 5 means I'd cop a donut most likely in Round 5.

I've got the first 4 as part of my trading plan now - hoping Stanlake doesn't punish me too much for not picking him.

Gee whiz what a disastrous opening to the BBL season. Well behind the pack which allows me to play the rest of the season with a bit of freedom in terms of trades. I’m decently positioned for the next two DGR’s, so have one eye on round 5 relevant players. With that in mind I’ve decided on the following trades:

****ektee -> Green
Sams -> KRichardson
Khan -> Zampa

Giving me the following side for round 2:

Current options:
A.
Out: C Lynn, D Sams, J Vince, In: R Khan (via T Curran), B Dwarshuis/C Jordan, S Milenko

Allows me to target the likes of A Carey, P Salt, C Morris,etc next round replacing J Doran, U Khawaja, but if I select Dwarshius instead of Jordan I'll likely be unable to grab Jordan to join A Carey next week unless I trade Banton (who I'd prefer to keep).
So it comes down to Dwarshuis VS C Jordan for RD3.

or
B.
Out: C Lynn, D Sams, C Jewell, In: A Carey, G Maxwell, H Kerr

Wait til RD3 to grab R Khan who will likely replace U Khawaja and C Jordan to replace G Maxwell allowing J Doran to a player below 100,000 or B Laughlin/T Banton to a player between $140,000 to $180,000.

Out: Bird, Ferguson, Hales
In: Rashid, Jordan, Green

Not ideal trades but don’t really have anyone else putting their hand up to be traded.

Wanted to keep at least one of Lynn or Bryant for this round (possibly with the C), but hand is a bit forced now.

Lynn, Bryant, Sams for Carey, Turner and MMarsh

Bit late to the party but thoughts on trading in Dwarshius?

Massive negative BE with an upcoming DGW. A score of over 50 will likely see him pushing 180k-190k+

Could be a great avenue to K Richardson / Stoinis etc for the round 5 DGW.
I prefer C Jordan at a similar price range for the RD3 DGW but Dwarshuis is very enticing due to the aforementioned reasons as well as decreasing the likelihood of copping a donut or poor score in RD5 due to the Strikers and Scorchers both on the bye and allowing a Christian/Stoinis/Maxwell/Richardson type.

Trades at this point are Lynn,Laughlin and Sams to Qais,Rashid and Kerr or is this too extreme? Would mean playing one of M.Short or Kerr in my starting team
Try and avoid Kerr if you can. Cartwright and Milenko would be better options IMO

Personally I prefer option A, with fewer specialist bats.

Thanks, partner. Dwarshuis or Jordan?
All else equal (ex fixturing) I would say narrowly Dwarshuis. More proven in Aussie conditions, actually takes more wickets per game, and young enough that he may still have some natural improvement (albeit possibly not in the next week or so!). Also likely better for cash generation. On the other hand he seems to have more competition for overs, and he won't get so many fielding points every round.

In reality I think it is pretty close, so it comes down to who suits your trade planning and/or your view on upcoming matchups, grounds etc. It looks like you could end up with a lot of R5 bye players. If you think this is a concern, I'd go Dwarshuis. Otherwise Jordan gives the extra DGR in R6.

Does anyone have any opinion on Carey vs Salt? Picking Salt may open up some more options for trades which will help because my money is pretty tight at the moment.
