Seriously annoying the BBL can't schedule games properly, don't they know it adds to my anxiety. 😜

I think Howey is right in that games are going materially longer than they used to (he should know!).

It would appear they got their forecasting wrong by at last 5 overs, which I suspect is probably at least 25 minutes when it’s the last 5.

Admittedly it’s extremely hot, and drinks breaks have likely added to the duration of this particular game, but 5 overs in a 40 over game is a significant forecast error.

As an aside, I find it strange/frustrating that BBL clubs don’t announce their outs. Doesn’t seem too difficult for the AFL clubs to do it.

LOL - I traded Bertus to Jacks just as a bit of fun to use my last trade. So he is on my bench with no E but I can cheer him on! However, I forgot I traded Bertus in at the start of the round so I still ended up with an unused trade

Today 3:10 between start times. Tuesday 3:20 and 3:40 between start times. I think 3:45 might be the sweet spot.

Their seems to be a distinct lack of information in the media every day from all clubs.

Availability of players , injury updates etc etc

Rare to see anything about the Strikers on the News here let alone other teams

I don’t think there’s anything formal/regular on Fox that they’d be holding the info back for, if that’s what you’re thinking. Sometimes I think it will come up in the commentary but I’d say it’s irregular and not prompted.

FTA commentators struggle with who is even playing half time (not sure if they are commentating from the studio still or not) , I am sure last night they said Spiceman had left even though I saw him sitting in the dugout 3 times

If they actually concentrated on the game it would be a lot better than rewinding the clock and talking about their playing days and other ****.

Apart from Punter & Lara the others don't offer much , Blewett occasionally isn't too bad , Slats sometimes

Good point. From memory they changed start times either for today or Tuesday, not entirely sure what the reason was. 3:10 probably always tight, Howey was saying that it used to be a 3 hour game as the goal.

I usually don’t have a strong preference, but when I switched from Fox to FTA the other day I remember that my initial reaction was that it was worse, which surprised me. Punter is fantastic but some of the others leave a bit to be desired.
