Good point. From memory they changed start times either for today or Tuesday, not entirely sure what the reason was. 3:10 probably always tight, Howey was saying that it used to be a 3 hour game as the goal.
4 and 1/2 minutes per over and 10 minute changeover is the goal. It just doesn't happen.

I usually don’t have a strong preference, but when I switched from Fox to FTA the other day I remember that my initial reaction was that it was worse, which surprised me. Punter is fantastic but some of the others leave a bit to be desired.
i watch the fta whenever i have a chance, fox is usually atrocious because 90% of the time warney, mark waugh or brad haddin is involved, at least in FTA lisa stahlekar is gone

I reckon they’ve changed the changeover time this season. At times it’s felt like the better part of half an hour. I suspect it’s not, but it feels like you can actually do something with that time now, or you’re waiting around for a meaningful period, rather than just a quick changeover allowing the opening batsmen to pad up.

The 10 minutes is meant to be from the last ball bowled to the first ball bowled, not start walking out. It ends up at least 15 minutes.

Let's time it tonight.

Ha! There’s absolutely no way they’ll hit that, I reckon I’ve seen bowlers practicing their run-ups and so on, like a mini training session. It’s good to warm up, but it seemed like a long stint was allowed for it.

Wonder if it’s even a Covid thing - don’t want the quicks going down with a hammy after watching their batting innings, etc.
