Ah yep that makes sense, lost track of the days and forgot that BBL is now less than 2 weeks away!

Hard to disagree with your logic. Surely something has gone wrong though if they sign a player for 3 games (Noor) and he doesn’t even make it for the first 1?

Unless he arrived this morning and quarantined for 14 days... I'm not enitrely sure how it works but technically the 14 day quarantine period could be over before his game at 7:15pm?

We need Flight Tracker so we can work out where and when they arrive , then how they get to Hobart after quarantine.

Renegades play the 12th & 13th , back to back games might have been hard enough for a 15yo as it was , let alone now.

If Parker is in the Hurricanes XI might just select him or one of the Heat cheapies instead.

It's interesting , do you replace him with Cartwright/Larkin (then work out how to trade them out) , start another Hurricanes or Strikers player or completely change tack and start 1-2 SGR players earlier than first planned.

Hopefully they give us a update soon on what is happening with him.

Cricket.com.au reporting that Lamichanne is/was due to miss the first 4 games and be available from the 27th December onwards (which coincides with Paul (from 16th) & Malan (who could be here a week earlier than the other 7 Englishman from South Africa)

Totally confused how Jacks can play if the other 3 are playing , oh well they might know what they are doing 😀

I feel Bryant is the biggest “make or break”. If you had a Perth donut you could look at him and loop him with Turner more often than not.

Got me thinking

If you had 2 Perth donuts you could use one to loop Bryant/Turner and the other as your VC/C option if required.

Bryant scores well leave as is , Bryant fails swap Donut & Turner around

Bowl Line: Scorcher Donut if needed for VC/C when you take Bryant scores + a Scorcher bowler who is just a permanent Emergency

Too many of the cheap bowling options have JS concerns over them for me , eg Ahmad , Parker , Tremain , whichever cheap Heat/Sixers player that plays the first 1-2 games , can't see them making $$$ if they only play 3-4 games

Wildermuth I don't mind as a bench option

so might just go with the 2 donuts from the start

See them both maybe around 30-35 batting points.

Bryant possibly loses out with the new boundary/SR rule.

Probably need to sit down during the week and look at my best SGR VC/C options for Round 4 onwards and work out the best team to utilise it , Holt doesn't appear much use (Rd 4-8) so looking at a few different options

Over 35 ? Definitely

I guess if Bryant gets to 20+ it would be fairly quick.

Just whether he scores 20+ consistently.

Not too many bat onlys would have averaged between 40 and 50 off the top of my head last season.

Problem is I also like Dan Hughes so might be risky fielding 2 of them each round.

2 out of the blue seasons , Webster possibly inflated by bowling points

He certainly works R4 - R8 if he doesn't play and is my preferred R1 option as well.

Think their 6th batting spot is between Short , Scott & Nielsen until Head returns.

Bryant vs Hughes vs Wildermuth - which two?

Definitely Wildermuth with Heat starting with a lack of bowlers. Hughes vs Bryant is a flip of the coin. I liked watching Bryant last season. Hopefully he's learnt not to throw his wicket. So it'd be him for me.
