Another dismal night from my team. Round 13 has not been kind thus far.
Set up my team this morning and went with Short over Richardson thinking if anyone could get close to a DGR score in one game it would be him.
Opened the app 20 mins into the game to see that my Captain M. Short was on 0 15 mins into the game
I knew all hope for a top 11 finish was now over
Sitting on 361 with 2 completed M. Short (C) and Richardson.
Players to come: Ashraf, McDermott, Jewell, Meredith, Ellis, Dooley, Neser, Sams and one of Johnson/Bazley/Labuschagne.
The goal now is to stay in the top 25.
Good luck all challengers in the main event tomorrow, hopefully a SCS player can bring it home!

So the season all comes down to today!
It is most likely going to be a roller coaster of emotions with so many players in play. Whatever happens, we will have both given it our best shot. If things don’t go my way, nothing would make me happier than seeing you cap off a remarkable season. If we get run down from behind, I just hope that it is a fellow SCS member that does it!

I wish you nothing but the best of luck mate as you are 80 overs from absolute fantasy folklore.
We have given it our all mate. I knew you would be around the mark as I have said earlier. Without disrespecting anyone else, I chose to watch you from ball 1 of game 1 as you can't watch everyone in a field of 59,000 competitors, and I think you will have a lot more of this next season regardless of the outcome of today. Credit though, no doubt you will continue to outwit.
I haven't given up the chase, but I do feel it's on your racquet from here. You have set yourself up beautifully to today's matches.
I still have a pulse though. I do have pieces that could go off. And I'm sure other competitors find themselves in a similar position to me. Whoever wins this thing has thoroughly deserved it.

Does anyone have visibility on the other teams ranked highly - especially #2 and #4?
Last night I wasn’t entirely sure which players I was barracking for (those owned by high ranked SCS members) and against (those owned by their close competitors!). It’s a little like watching a match without being able to see the scoreboard 🙂
It would be great to track what the X vs Y looks like, and how it is evolving … we had some real swings and roundabouts late last season, which made for a gripping finish!

Posting a bit late as we lost power here in Geelong late afternoon during a massive storm which didn’t come back on until early this morning so didn’t even get to see all of last night’s match once the laptop went completely dead followed quickly by the iPhone.
Head and Short can stay on the bench while Carey will be looped.

Good luck everyone for the final day. It’s both exciting and a little bit sad. As some have said it’ll be a relief at the end of the day as we live and breathe this stuff for the 6 or so weeks
I’m 2/520. Seems ok. Ranked 35th. Best case I have a really good day and jump back into the top 20, worst case I’m hoping is still enough to hold top 50

I'm gearing up with a Women's QF on the TV at present, and the golden stuff has just been cracked.
There's butterflies in the stomach, but also pure excitement. I just can't wait for the cricket to start today.
I've got friends coming over throughout the day to celebrate whatever the result may be, with the lovely Public Holiday for all of us to rest the weary heads no doubt (I'm on holidays so I had a free pass anyway)
I'm in a good headspace. That hasn't always been the case because the game has really cracked me at times, and there's nothing wrong with that. I know I'm not alone in that department. We all take this stuff really seriously and the track record on this site is amazing.
So I wish you all good luck today. I hope the POD's you are riding come through.
