I'm gearing up with a Women's QF on the TV at present, and the golden stuff has just been cracked.
There's butterflies in the stomach, but also pure excitement. I just can't wait for the cricket to start today.
I've got friends coming over throughout the day to celebrate whatever the result may be, with the lovely Public Holiday for all of us to rest the weary heads no doubt (I'm on holidays so I had a free pass anyway
)
I'm in a good headspace. That hasn't always been the case because the game has really cracked me at times, and there's nothing wrong with that. I know I'm not alone in that department. We all take this stuff really seriously and the track record on this site is amazing.
