After seeing some of the teams posted, I would put Overton or Short into flex, as they are one of the last teams to get locked out.
If someone like Buckingham don't get named, and you want to get rid of them and bring in a BAT only player, but all your other positions are locked out, you can sub Overton into Buckingham's place and get a BAT only into flex.

Khan (would be 1 for me but unknown how he handles Aussie conditions)
Zampa
Fergus

I know a lot are keen on Zampa and I’ve no doubt he’ll do ok, but Sixers are good at playing spin (generally play it safe against the premier spinners) and the SCG is usually pretty flat early season. We’ve had some serious heat in Sydney recently too, so I doubt we’ll be seeing the pitch doing much first up.
Hurricanes usually play Zampa quite well too, at home they’ll enjoy the usually very nice batting conditions as well.
Of course, the Renegades might put on 200 batting first and Zampa could take 5 as they try to go for it and I’ll look quite silly.

2. Rogers, most likely to get the surge and death overs
3. Khan, if he bowls his 4 he could be the best of the lot but it probably comes down to conditions and how the others are bowling
4. O'Neill, bit of an unknown in t20
5. Richardson, doesn't play enough cricket for mine and I'd expect he gets rotated a fair amount
You'll probably get a lot of different opinions on all these bowlers but other than Zampa, O'Neill and Richo are the highest owned so who knows really.

Had my alarm set to create a team today. Don't get too emotionally invested in BBL fantasy as it's incredibly fickle with a lot of luck involved but it's good fun with all the doubles and advanced planning required.
Pretty happy with my side apart from the Stars / Renegades bowlers. Is Milne any good these days? Overall record ok but history in the BBL is poor and recent T10 tournament was poor, but I say that without knowing what 'good' looks like in a T10 game...

Behrendorff v Tye still undecided. Like Behrendorff but that extra 20k could be vital to get up to Short next round if I want to go there. Tye not in outstanding form, but doesn’t really need to be in the role he bowls (death). Neither is Behrendorff but I don’t put much stock into T10. Loop Connolly and Behrendorff/Tye. Trade Buckingham or Fabian Allen to a dud to take the score. Won’t take both unless they both go nuclear.
Webster/Curran into Sutherland/Khan. $24,300 left, $44,300 if I go Tye instead.
