Going to favour a bit of the next couple of DGR's by taking 6 into this week with Stoinis emergency.
Webster, Curran, Khan, O'Niell and McKenzie the others.

Overton, Connolly, Behrendorff, Richardson and hopefully Buckingham for GW2.
Alsop, Edwards, Bartlett and Kerr for GW3.

That is probably the closest squad to my own that ive seen yet. The players you have in that i dont have (Philippe, Sutherland and J.Edwards) are three that ive had in my team for a significant period of time but i ended up leaving them out. So, i love my own team, so i really cant fault yours.

Yeh I like the Stars matchup for Bartlett and he should definitely bowl four in good periods if Johnson/Neser miss more.

Alsop has a great conversion rate in his own conditions and I'll take the punt early before going the double duds.

Is there any benefit to put certain players in that position??

There is no emergency for the flex player, don’t choose someone who plays late and is a chance of missing.

Other than that I’m not sure there’s a big advantage.

Maybe a bowler if anything, given that we seem to want fewer WKs and bats in our squad than they make us select!
