Weather watch for Thursday in Brisbane for the Heat v Hurricanes match.

Currently showing 60% chance of rain, 0-8mm.

Medium chance of showers, most likely in the afternoon and evening. Chance of a thunderstorm.

I'll set up as if the last two rounds are singles and get a couple low BE players I'd like for that.
I'm not going to force in a WKP just to have a green dot for the round.
Short has the ability to exceed the combined score of any 3 players I trade in anyway.

There are some huge BEs this round for most Canes worth targeting. Just worth keeping in mind that selling them for Rd9 won't be easy - we are probably stuck with them.if we trade them in.

Not sure if DC plays , Warner was saying it was a toss up between him and Weibgen.

Maybe Doran plays

Not sure I want to overload on Hurricanes either (currently own Jordan & Meredith) in case I get stuck fielding them in Round 9

You'll be playing with the bare XI (if Thornton remains out) with those set of trades and only the one Hurricanes.
There's a Charlie Wakim ($44,100) available if you have a spare 5k ITB.
He allows me to do this for my team.

In a bind about the following trade option:

Stoinis>S Smith or
Doran>C Jordan.

Trade two gets a double gamer but it would mean watching Smith behind the couch on Wednesday.

Trade one runs the risk of the Canes randomly playing Doran in game 4 (though I will have a clearer idea of whether that matters after tonight.

Any thoughts appreciated. The safe side of me says Jordan, the 'go for gold' side says Smith.
