Thought it must have been April 1st

Designated hitter - so the Chris Lynn rule

Designated fielder

12 balls from one end (similar to the Hundred where they can bowl 10)

Double play only on a run out , actually don't mind this one even if it sounds gimmicky , not sure about catch and run out though

Face 6 dot balls and you are out !!! ***

A extra over if you bowl a maiden over 🤔

Always thought in 50 over & 20 over let at least one bowler bowl unlimited overs (capped at 25 & 10) , after all a batsman can bat as long as they can until getting out

Certainly would make it different to other T20 Leagues around the world.

Don't understand how it will be more attractive to OS players or Test players.

Do they just come and bat (or bowl) each game and that's it ?

Not a fan of most of those rules. No justification for them except trying to be different to possibly speed up the game. If they want to do that, set a time limit and once time is up, it's innings over. If you haven't bowled the full 20 overs - too bad. Bowling team controls the pace of the game, if the batter tries to delay the game, take runs off.

I don't mind the designated hitter / fielder rule though, teams batting first often do this now anyway.

So if the bowling side slows it down and only bowls say 15 overs in the allotted time do they lose 5 overs when they bat ?

Was watching one of The Spin episodes they were saying it was taking on average 90 seconds for the batsman to face the first ball.

Captains were saying they were getting penalised when their were delays for the DJ music still playing , think the other one was they weren't getting time added back on when they actually took wickets , take 5-6 and it was costing the fielding side 1-2 overs in time delay
