between hosein and dwarshius who are we thinking? I know dwarshius had been kn fire but a lot of those points have come from the bat.
Dwarsh for me - Hosein is a really hard sell at the price and batting as low as 10 (!). I rate him a lot higher but there's less opportunity and frankly, Dwarsh is killing it with the ball too. Abbott in the Test squad makes him the clear #1 there.

918 Connolly C.
Rank dropped from 5K to 8K. Hope to make a strong comeback next GW.
Unfortunately, I don’t think I can make a strong comeback in this GW. I can only try to consolidate with quite a few low value non-starters (Scott, Lachlan) gades’ players (brown, JFM, Seifert, Frank, Rogers) and out of form players (Allen, tye, Boyce)

Currently thinking this.
Seifert JFM Tye Konstas -> Banton, Vince, Spencer, Edwards

View attachment 81768 Sitting 464 overall potentially looking at a boost to get this squad, or should I leave boost for next week? Any thoughts?
Welcome aboard! That’s a great ranking, well done.

A few thoughts that come to mind:

- If you keep this/a similar setup, I think you can effectively loop Turner into Thornton via Konstas and DPP. That’s handy if you go that way.

- You seem to have plenty of DGR players, so I can’t see any need to boost for that reason.

- I was just thinking that a lot of people seem to be boosting this week, which to me makes sense. Other than next round, I’m not sure of another specific round in which it makes sense to use one (albeit I’m sure unexpected cases will pop up).

- Is there a way to upgrade any of your ins? I’m not sure whether Peirson, Renshaw or Mir have come in this round, but if you can get any of them up to someone you’re happy to hold longer term, I would consider that. You do have a lot of the good names in Bartlett, Hosein, Dwarsh etc though.

- Owen for cash gen is probably the main reason to look at boosting. You may be able to get a stronger premium in as well, given his lowish price point.

- Keep an eye on your Thunder donuts, as their donut draw becomes pretty unfavorable later in the season. You may want to switch them out at some point, albeit I’ve already been caught short with Shaw! Maybe doing it when you have less pressing needs, and when we know who is definitely out, would make sense.

Best of luck!

Can't pick everyone and if theres a couple I have to leave out the spinner at 195K tops the list, might make me look stupid but just feels very expensive for the role he has.

Ended on 1097 after a 1298 in the opening round. Traded Rogers which was unfortunate and may have adjusted if aware of the news in time regarding Tye/Richardson. Good job by Seifert and Sutherland on a single to narrow the gap along with Tye and Connolly compensating for their low scores to start the round.

Have not looked into trades yet but likely to flick Behrendorff, Tye and Richardson for the likes of Heat bowler, Sixers bowler, Heat/Sixer and may use my last boost if needed.
Currently:
Out: Sutherland, Connolly, Tye and Richardson
In: Hosein, Dwarshuis, Johnson and Walter

Targets for next round are a returning Rogers along with M Short. Prefer to keep Sutherland as it becomes too hard bringing him back and affording the others. No one else particularly of interest from the Strikers or Renegades and will be hoping to have around 6-8 on the double in RD4.

Mcsweeney -16 on a double is hard to turn down. I know traditionally bat only isn’t the play, but he looked great the other night and will make money at least and then move on next round
Depends how many of that Bartlett,Maxwell,Hosein,Walter,Dwarshuis and Edwards group you have, I dont think I'd go a McSweeney over any of them unless you were price locked, even Munro,Johnson and Mir look ripper picks for slightly more money.

Points over cash in a 9 Round Season

Captain Pat Cummins confirmed his team would make two changes for the fourth NRMA Insurance Test in Melbourne, with Sam Konstas to debut (replacing Nathan McSweeney) and Boland coming in for the injured Josh Hazlewood.

All I want for Christmas is one of Abbott and Jhye to be released :p

ATM got Maxwell, Edward’s, Dwarshuis, Johnson. Comes down to Weatherald to Mcsweeney or Sutherland to one of the other big guns. It’s a hard one
