Hope everyone’s having a great Christmas. I’ve managed to find a bit of time to look at some trade options. Had a rough round last round, so happy to burn my second boost to try and go for some points for the last big double round.

Assuming there are no surprise elections, I’m looking at trading out Short, Konstas, Richardson and Connolly (reluctantly, so could save a boost and keep him but I think I need the extra double player this round). Maxwell is locked in as the first trade in, as he probably has one of the highest ceilings this round. The other trade ins are between:

A) Renshaw, Dwarshuis and Walter
B) McSweeney, Dwarshuis and Johnson
C) Renshaw, Bartlett/Hosein and Johnson

Will need to grab one of the heat batsmen to free up some funds, and like both options with negative break evens. Slightly prefer McSweeney due to batting one spot higher and being a better player, but happy to save some money and go Renshaw if I decide to go with one of the more expensive bowling options.

Keen on Walter’s role despite his underwhelming scores, but worried the inclusion of Johnson might mean he missed out on some death overs.

Would love to jump on Siddle but just not confident he plays both games.

Would appreciate some other people’s thoughts.

Can't go wrong with any of those options for mine. Pretty much the exact same pool of players I'm looking at.

All else being equal, I rate the premium options as Bartlett > Dwarsh > Walter > Hosein, and probably McSweeney > Renshaw > Johnson for the value.

Question, Currently have Dorf, 3 trades already made with a donut in the flex

Tall Paul this week or Sutherland next week....leaning towards Sutherland.

This week....only 6DGR and 7DGR already for next week pending selection.

Webster to Harper
Wood to McSweeney
Tye to Edwards

Ended up jumping 1,662 spots to just inside the top 1k into 936th. Just been catching up on news. With no Jhye/Abbott being released, I've got a lot of issues to work on.

Hope everyone had a great break. Just a friendly reminder that there's a double header on for tomorrow. (Updated the thread title)

No emergency for the flex position. I would rather Tall Paul if it means you don’t have to cop a 0

So Abbott, Webster and Richo definitely ruled out for this round (well at least game 1 for Webster and Abbott) makes things interesting, as does Hardie back for Perth.

No Inglis for the Scorchers, are Connolly and Hardie the 3 and 4?
Yeah, would say so.

Allen & Jennings to open. Turner 5, Hurst 6.

Captain Pat Cummins confirmed his team would make two changes for the fourth NRMA Insurance Test in Melbourne, with Sam Konstas to debut (replacing Nathan McSweeney) and Boland coming in for the injured Josh Hazlewood.

All I want for Christmas is one of Abbott and Jhye to be released :p
The SC Grinch running a muck…. No Jhye or Abbott…

Best DGR BWL eligible player for under 119k?

Swepson vs Kerr vs any other?
Kerr should have a decent role, although I do wonder what happens to Kerr if Abbott comes back for the second game of the round?

Swepson doesn't seem to pick up too may bags of wickets (69 wickets in 76 innings isn't great) and Perth/Brisbane probably won't spin a lot.

Does Siddle play both games for the Stars? Paris might be another option, but I'm not sure you can rely on the fact he'll bowl 4 overs, even if he does play.
