Wonder if they are staggering departures.

Which is why I advised to someone earlier to check if Webster was indeed still available. Had a feeling the squad were leaving before the Stars’ last round game was being played.

Initial reports months ago was the 19th.

That then got changed to the 18th/19th.

Their was something somewhere I read about staggered departures.

Friday squads will tell us about Carey , Connolly & McSweeney at least.

When availabilities were released, Smith only had 3 games from Jan 11th (3rd game would be Friday) but others had regular season. For them to make the distinction suggests the others can play final round games and then depart.

I own Carey so will wait and see for a Striker Squad announcement on Friday , mind you failed again so might just trade him out in any case.
