With Sutherlands 19 deleted I'm currently - 5 / 457.

Had to bring in a donut to access Scott's 107 and possibly bring Ellis to the bench.

Wade, Maxwell (C), Stoinis, Chaudhary, David, and Owen to play.

5/439 (Short). I have dropped off H Manenti's 3, as I rolled the dice on him over E Rogers' 30.

Aside from that yesterday went pretty well. New recruit Johnson wasn't outstanding but Short was excellent, new recruit Hardie decent and Renshaw very good. 6 to come in the final game today. Can update one trade if someone is unexpectedly rested.

If Chaudhary , Stoinis & Wade are all in the starting XI I will actually end up with a unused trade and $ 94,400.00 in the Bank

Might contact them and see if I can carry it over to next season 😉

Can swap Wade to Harper or Doran (if a late in) if necessary

Can bring back Meredith if absolutely necessary

Any ideas on the pitch tonight, have to pick 2 players to not score out of Stoinis, David, Owen, Jordan, Chaudry, Ellis & Meredith.

Can’t decide if the Canes will clean up the brittle batting lineup of the Stars or not!

I reckon don’t even worry about the pitch, worry about the XI picked! Serious chances of players being rested. Meredith at the top of the list. Wouldn’t even be surprised if Owen was given a rest personally.

I’m quietly hoping for Chaudhary to be rested so I can trade Maxwell back in, but that’s a pipe dream.

He's doing a wonderful job as my C so I can take Connelly's VC

That’s what I expect at full strength. Although a chance they run just the 4 front line bowlers and have Wakim as well.

What they run tonight is a different question.

Interesting that the last couple of games they have gone 7-4 instead of 6-5.

Wakim is the puzzle 16 , 12 , 0 v the 5th specialist bowler (Bean or Gannon) or do they "trust" Chaudhary/David/Owen to split 4 overs.

Like you said tonight's XI could be a different set-up altogether

Every game Wade and McDermott have played together this bbl Wade has opened.
Wade opening obviously has appeal vs him batting at 5 or 6.
