Very happy with my score as I jumped up 160 spots to 310th so my green arrow streak continues. Not sure how I keep doing it as it might not last forever but here's hoping.

Was at the AO for majority of the night (last 3 nights really) but then managed to sneak into the game just after the 10th over of the 2nd innings as it was a very short walk and was not disappointed! Going into the round with just 1 Thunder was mighty scary but dodged a massive bullet. It's finally nice to have a trade in go big for once in POD recruit Abbott. Kerr a nice handy 80 odd but ofc, I had to captain the lowest scorer in Edwards when I should have gone Abbott!

Congrats to our new number 1 overall leader Dravid! And well done to the scs names I also recognise just behind him in the top 10.

I nearly dropped my phone when I saw this ranking!

Seriously kissed this round, no other way to put it.

Trades:
Thornton > Ferguson
K Richardson > Christian
Lynn > M. Marsh

Swing and a miss with the big Bison, which may be a blessing in disguise with the rain around Sydney on Saturday.

Congrats to @Dravid for taking the lead overall! 3 rounds to go!

697 Dwarshius

Game 1: 1/200 - Christian (e taken), Renshaw (e taken), WAgar (v not taken), Billings, Green
Game 2: 2/253 - Sutherland, Zampa, Bethell (excluded)
Game 3: 4/0 - Christian, WAgar, Billings, Green, Chaudhary (bench)
Game 4: 4/244 - Maxwell, Stoinis, Edwards, Dwarshius (c), Kerr (bench ), Shaw (bench)

Last 2 captains scores of 16 (Sutherland) & 13 (Dwarshius) sums up my season. Both bowled 4 overs and didn’t take a wicket or earn an ER bonus and both batted for a total of 13 runs. This was after my V of WAgar each round scored 4 and 24. Clearly my ticket to the SCS success party got lost in the mail.

840 Warner moves me back up to 153 (still only 13th in the SCS group). Hoping to crack the top 100 before the end of the season.

Too many targets for me to trade in. Need some Canes so looking at Owen, Chaudrey and even thinking about David. Johnson, Neser and Webster the SGRs I'm also looking at. Always tempting to bring in M Short as well.

Agar definitely trading out and probably Billings and Green but with some potential rain also considering Dwarsh and Philippe to go.

For those looking to target Webster this round, it's worth remembering the Stars have a bye next round. So not only do you not want get caught out carrying too many non playing players, but also you'll only get 2 scores from him vs 4 from a Hurricane. Worth factoring in to plans, as you'd need him to have 2 solid games when up against 4 scoring opportunities.

What if they are thinking Webster - > Hurricane - > Webster though ?

Still get 4 games.

The Hurricane player may not necessarily be onfield in Round 9 either.

Probably odd to be thinking of trading Webster in but that negative BE is extremely enticing..

Also gives you the benefit of knowing you have a known trade out for Round 8 (unless holding as a 🍩) so benefit of holding a different player for Round 8 & 9.

Yeah its a fair point. Personally I don't like having locked in trade outs as too much can change (teams, weather, etc), so having the ability to pivot is useful. Always good to have a plan, but what are the consequences if it doesn't work out. I would also question if using a trade this round for a 1 game score is worth it given the variability of big bash scoring. A lot of people were thinking similar with Doggett the week before his bye and he scored 5..
