Welcome to the BBL - this may be a real lemons into lemonade opportunity given how bad the Stars were!
Some quick thoughts to consider:
The Hurricanes and Thunder guys are probably under the radar due to fixture (ie a potentially good reason), but Konstas may be a viable alternative if you want some exposure.
Value picks to consider include Edwards, Abbott, Zampa. All have early doubles.
If you know which Strikers you want, getting them know saves you trades.
Having a game of info on the Scorchers gives you an edge of sorts - try to use it, and work backwards from R2 trade planning if you can.
Have a think about captaincy and how you would execute the loop.

Ok here’s the situation. Went into the season with as little preparation as possible as I’ve overthought decisions year after year. Unfortunately it has back fired big time. Accidentally put the straight C on Curran which worked but Hardie and Merlo has undone that good work. Just looking for some advice on how to limit to damage
I’m already thinking of next week moving on Hardie, Sunderland and Cartwright to Inglis, Short and who can fit in my budget.
Wondering with injures and unavailability’s in my squad if 4 renegades is the best idea or should I grab a Striker instead
