You got that right. I reckon I've spent a few grand over the last two years watching my boys get pumped by you lot and the kiwis. Awful.

Well Ireland doesn't have a test team, so I follow the England cricket team pretty closely (long story, born in Ireland but grew up in England, grandfather used to be involved with the Eng cricket set-up)

When Ireland play England I want Ireland to win, but they don't really get to do that too often outside the WC.

As long as your grandfather is not Douglas Jardine I guess we won't deport you. ;)

West Indies made 6 for 310 off their 50 overs v Pakistan
Gayle made 4 (no surprise there)
Dwayne Smith 23
Darren Bravo got run at non-strikers end in first match without facing a ball, then got hit in head whilst making a quick single in this game and finally as he was moving in on his half century he apparently done his hammy and carried off retired hurt on 49. He needs to avoid walking under ladders in future.

Meanwhile Denesh Ramdin made a very helpful 51 off 43 balls that set the innings up with his partnership with Bravo.
Lendl Simmons came in when Bravo retired hurt. Simmons was 50 not out at end after their 50 overs.
Samuels made 38, Sammy 30 and Andre Russell came in at the end to smash 42 off 13 balls.

Last match they could not defend a similar total against Ireland. Can they do it this time against Pakistan ?
Kemar Roach got dropped for spinner Benn so will see if that makes a difference in their bowling divisions.
For Pakistan they seemed to drop a bundle of catches. Pathetic fielding.

Good to see in poll more people taking New Zealand seriously.
Going to be a cracker game next Saturday of Australia v New Zealand over there.
Don't remember a NZ v Australia game being this big since Richard Hadlee and Martin Crowd were around.
Watching highlights of Southee wickets yesterday was wonderful to see some genuine outswing bowling skill just destroying another side. Brings back memories of Terry Alderman at his best or Damien Fleming when he was on song. Love to watch a bit of class outswing bowling at the elite level.
If they knock us off and then we meet in final at MCG it will be the biggest one day game between Australia and New Zealand since the infamous underarm incident at the G. Just sense it is coming.
Meanwhile South Africa assume they will be there as they do every World Cup campaign. With AB de Villers in their side, we have a ripper 3 sides battling it out in World Cup this year. If India can knock off South Africa at the G tomorrow I will love it and make it four sides that have reason to believe they are some chance.

I have, very easy (and beneficial) to notice when one uses the same user name at different places.

Official crowd is 86,876.

It sounds and looks like 80,000 of them are India fans!
