No Travis Head also for anyone who has him (myself included for the time being), I thought his Shield form would have warranted a start for the Strikers.

Got my team pretty well set now, happy with it. Just tossing up who my fourth bowler should be out of Doug Bollinger and Jackson Bird. Doug has had a pretty good start to the season whilst Bird is coming back from injury but has been bowling for a while now, will just have to wait and see the make-up of the Stars line-up I reckon.

Copying and pasting this from Ryobi Cup thread as thought it might be helpful for some of us as we try to figure out how to pick our fantasy teams for this.

**Note that players for T20 teams are not state teams so which squad a player is in, is not always the same as for other Cricket.

Here are the top ten leading run scorers for in the Ryobi Cup for 2013.

1st - David Warner (NSW) - In eight innings, he made 541 runs averaging 67.62
2nd - Usman Khawaja (QLD) - In seven innings, he made 426 runs averaging 71.00

4th - Michael Klinger (SA) - In six innings, he made 380 runs averaging 76.00
5th - Steve Smith (NSW) - In eight innings, he made 321 runs averaging 53.50
6th - Matthew Wade (VIC) - In seven innings, he made 316 runs averaging 45.14
7th - Rob Quiney (VIC) - In six innings, he made 310 runs averaging 51.66
8th - Shaun Marsh (WA) - In four innings, he made 304 runs averaging 76.00
9th - Tom Cooper (SA) - In six innings, he made 294 runs averaging 49.00
10th - Nic Maddinson (NSW) - In seven innings, he made 254 runs averaging 36.28
Here are the top ten leading wicket takers in the Ryobi Cup for 2013.

1st - Sean Abbott (NSW) - In seven matches, he took 16 wickets at an average of 20.93
2nd - Andrew Tye (WA) - In five matches, he took 13 wickets at an average of 19.30
3rd - Jon Holland (VIC) - In seven matches, he took 13 wickets at an averages of 27.33
4th - Josh Hazlewood (NSW) - In seven matches, he took 12 wickets at an average of 30.83
5th - Gurinder Sandhu (NSW) - In seven matches, he took 11 wickets at an average of 27.81

Argh, bit of a late scramble as usual.

Which 2 from Bird, Hauritz, Bollinger, Sandhu?

I just went Bollinger over Bird, so I would say Doug and either Bird/Sandhu.

In doing my latest swap I was then $400 short of having my ideal team, that would have been Maddison/North as my 4th and 5th batters, but currently have North and Silk, can go Maddison and Silk though. Will come down to a) if all these guys play for the Sixers, and b) Sixers batting line-up essentially.

Can't wait, bring on the BBL season!!! :D

Cheers GG, seeing they were the two you were tossing up between, i'll just grab them both :D

I've just noticed we have a rolling lockout but I also have some memories of some captain loophole backfires last year. Are you going straight up captain or gonna give loophole a shot? I'll probably flip a coin between Finch and Hodge.

Bollinger been in form so not a bad punt.

Last minute scramble for me too in bowling department. Putland not playing and neither is James Pattinson so brought Coulter-Nile and Haberfield in and using Haberfield as emergency tonight with Copeland in team. Also got V on someone tonight. If they score well I see if there any loophole to mess around with.
Do VC score double and C triple or am I getting confused with SC finals game they ran with in September ?

I have no idea guys, Haven't even heard of most of the blokes in my squad.
Finch (c), Pomersbach, Shah, Maddison, ( Katich )
Botha (vc), Malik. ( Keath )
Paine, ( Keiswetter )
McDermott, McKay, Beer, Bird. ( Meanie )

Probably should of gone auto fill. Are all these blokes actually playing Goodies ?

Formatting sucks but scoring below. Looks like skipper's points are worth double and vice does not score.

How you'll score points

- Your 2013-14 KFC T20 Big Bash League Fantasy Competition squad is awarded points based on the real performances of the real players in each game, throughout the 35 match T20 tournament.
- Points scored by your team each round are based on the performance of the starting line-up of your 11 players for each round.
- Your 4 Substitutes do not add their points towards your team total, however your Substitutes act as automatic emergencies and will automatically have their score added (as long as they score greater than 0) to replace a player in your Starting 11 who doesn't play and receives a score of 0 - in their matching position only.
- NOTE that when a team plays TWICE in any given round, you receive the cumulative score for each particular player from BOTH matches in the same round. Similarly, you do not receive any points from players whose team does not play in any round.
- Your selected Captain (or vice captain if your captain doesn't play) scores double points. You may change your captain selection during each nominated trade period, up until the start of their match in any Round. Once a selected Captain's (and Vice Captain's) real-life match has started, your Captain/Vice Captain selection is locked in and can no longer be changed.
- Scores are updated LIVE. Full round results are usually updated the morning after the last match of the round has been completed on the previous evening.
- Due to the complexity and volume of stats processed, delays may occasionally occur. Please allow up until 3:00pm AEDT on the day after the conclusion of the previous night's match for scores to be processed.

Point Scoring Stat Description Points Awarded/Deducted

Runs (Per run scored) 1 Point
(Duck - Exc. Bowlers) (-20 points)
Strike Rate Bonus (must score 20+ runs for SR bonus)
Strike Rate of 150+ 20 Points
Strike Rate of 130-149.99 12 Points

Wickets (Per wicket) 20 Points
Maiden over bowled (per maiden over) 12 Points
Economy Rate Bonus (must bowl at least 3 overs for ER bonus)
6 or less r.p.o. 20 Points
6.01-8 r.p.o. 12 Points
Catch 12 Points
Runout (Final player affecting runout) 15 Points
Stumping (W'keeper only) 15 Points

VC on Finch for me tonight. With the Renegades bowling first I am hoping the Stars (mainly Maxwell and White) post a big score for Finch to chase down.

All guys on the field should play, Mennie and Keath would be unlikely I think and possibly a little doubt over whether Katich gets a game for the Scorchers. Looks alright though mate :)

EDIT: Also make sure that Malik is playing as doesn't have any international duty. Sorry I can't remember if he has or not, worth checking.
