That would be right, kept Mawell as my all rounder, got rid of Wright for Mitch Marsh. He had better out perform or at least match Wright, hopefully their BBL season doesn't follow the same path as my SC season.

Fairly happy with how the guys I had playing tonight would have gone although the two late changes I made in taking Wright and Bird out of my side could/would have cost me a hefty amount of points unless Mitch Marsh and Bollinger really fire.
Murali why did you have to go out for a duck, just one run would have helped in not subtracting points off your score.

Bird would have been sensational to have this 1st round. Same with Luke Wright. Cannot believe he topped off batting with some bowling too AND getting wickets to boost his score even higher. I had neither and was spewing when Maxwell went out as he had my VC on. Having said that Maxwell although missing out with his batting and bowling took a few catches and a stunning run out to get a respectable score rather than complete disaster. I never found out two of my emergencies did not make the final 11 for the game so that loophole possibility was closed too.
If you want to trade in Bird or Wright after round 1, the next questions to ask is do their price stay same or jump after one game ? AND
if either or both get picked in the Australian or England ODI sides or T20 sides is it worth getting them next week ?
If they both only play the first 3 or so rounds then maybe getting them next week is not a wise idea.

England have already announced their squads for the odi and t20 matches and luke wright is in the t20 so if you trade him in now you will have him until at least the last round of matches, bird doesn't look like getting selected for Australia so it would be fine to put him in, keep in mind Maxwell will probably be picked for Australia in the odi and t20 games. not sure about the price rising though
