Got talked into getting Rudiger this week on my WC in FPL. That 92nd minute goal left me punching the air at some crazy hour. Wrapt I did. Midweek he went for a Maradona like run and he would almost scored the best ever goal in the history of football.
He tried another similar one on the weekend. Love the fact CHE DEF have a licence to run and attack the goals.
Tuchel has made all of them impressive, as they've scored 5 goals in 5 games and been involved in 4 assists.

I had brought in Cancelo as a DTer and hoped he'd get a goal involvement. Unfortunately that seems to have been in UCL and the assist didn't count in Sportal. I think I have to admit defeat and dump him, hoping he does poorly and I can get him back cheaper.
Don't really want to drop either Tsimikas or Chalobah, as they've got a bit left in them and both score well when they start.

Help! I have kind of backed myself into a corner and need to find a forward or two this week and it doesn’t look like a week to be getting them.

Jesus has made his cash, and with a high BE of 24 it is time to go. Greenwood is in the same boat but his BE is not as severe at 14, so can possibly hold him another week.

Salah is my other forward. Does anyone have any thoughts on who I should grab this week?

Isn't it the other way around? They play early so you'll see if he starts before you have to make the transfer.
No i can't do it unless Bachmann is playing. {plays 3pm uk time}
Would need a definite confirmation he was starting.
I wanted to bring in a defender definitely and can't have another 10 man week.
Rudiger and Kovacic play 1230pm so my hands are tied.

How much remaining salary do you have and what does the rest of your side look like?

The rest of my side have low BEs (except Grealish) so no desire to move anyone else on this week. $5M in the bank.
With that amount of spare cash, then R Lukaku is an easy choice given his run of fixtures after facing Manchester City and the matchup this week should not be a deterrence.

The other spot depends on whether you would like to grab Ronaldo as soon as possible or prefer to grab Kane/Vardy for the meantime and target Ronaldo later in the season. I would hold one for another week and reassess.

I’m finding it extremely frustrating to lose Cancelo too. 4 CS’s and consistent scores of 12,10,14,14,12. It’s just the best thing for my team given the fixtures. I think the positive is that its easy to get Tsimi back to him. If I had a larger bank then I’m not sure where that would leave me as I really liked the trades you posted.

Thank you. Any recommendations if he is unavailable, as I am struggling to find any alternatives in that price range?
There’s really not much that I like at the moment in midfield.
The City players have 2 toughies, are expensive and I’d imagine where they are priced, have high BEs.
Raphinha the obvious choice in that bracket and the best by a fair margin imo.
It’s the lower bracket that interests me most, but none that I feel I want to jump on yet for various reasons. Canos isn’t exciting, but he’s a 60-70min starter.
In your position of making 2 upgrades, if Raphinha fell through I would consider culling Digne before he really bottoms out.

I don't mind Greenwood. Still a good run so not the worst player to have to hold onto.

But with two tough away games, maybe Jesus has to go.
Lukaku is an option if you want to go straight to a DTer.
One week early, but his price should be safe given he'll drop a 5 pter.

Sarr got a nice score and has two good games left. Should get some cash off him, and good chance of pts.

Bowen already has covered his BE, and still has some good fixtures left. Probably due a goal too.
Consistent with misc pts to at least return his cost.

Chuck in ASM into that mix for the same reasons.

Benrahma back to safety with a BE of only 6.

That's about all I see at a quick glance. Any of them might just be a means to a quick flip to Kane anyway.

OK, understood. You're in the same boat as me.
For me, I think the decision is made. WAT haven't kept a CS yet, and although some scores returned have been value, this new uncertainty has tipped me over the edge. Just don't want to play that game anymore. Guaita ticks all the boxes for me.

The other alternative I see is to wait one week for Lloris. His BE is about 20, so his price could drop off a cliff.

I'm just spewing my MIAs forced me to dump my MIA MID, otherwise I'd have kept Bachmann on the bench and had Guaita as an addition.
With so few MIDs enticing ATM, that spot is probably better utilised as a loop.

I can see Chilwell getting a 90 minute run midweek in the EFLC, then Alonso starting this weekend.
But then CHE are away to Juventus next midweek in UCL, so will Alonso get the following week at home vs Soton?
It might well be Chilwell who gets that 'easier' game?
That's my only issue with Alonso. He's a great pick, but at some point, I see him rotating with Chilwell.
Alonso looks like the favourite now, so he'll likely miss out on the easier games.

Can anyone provide me with Alex McCarthys BE?

Really warming to him. Conceded 3 against Everton and 2 against Newcastle, but only 1 against United and 2 consecutive CS’s against West Ham and City. Some good long term fixturing to come outside next weeks trip to Stamford Bridge.

I think most importantly this gets me my preferred target in Alonso.

And just like that the Alonso doubt creeps back in😂
