Pretty happy with this. Maybe spend a bit more than I needed to on Alpine, but I had the cash available. I still have 3.7M in the bank.
With Bottas/Magnussen, Alfa/Haas doing so well, it may be worth running a cheap setup for the first few rounds and utilising money saved in the bank to upgrade when the time comes.
It's a promising looking season in general already...
* No clear favourite to start
* Prospect of development causing the running order to change through the season (let's be honest, Mercedes will find a way back)
* 1.5 seconds between the first 19 cars in Q1! Even Zhou honestly didn't look out of place.
* If it is a season long Leclerc v Verstappen battle it's every chance to be as tasty as last year... though perhaps difficult to imagine Binotto playing the Toto Wolff role
* Bottas v Russell on track battles again??? Hope Valtteri has learned to defend.
* We're about to find out just how good Mick Schumacher is.
