I've prepared some driver and teams break evens going into round 3 which is in two weeks time. Lots of negative break even's to take advantage of.

Drivers: Leclerc -140, Magnussen -42, Sainz -32, Ocon -15, Zhou -8, Bottas 1, Tsunoda 8, Latifi 16, Schumacher 21, Stroll 21, Albon 25, Alonso 61, Perez 66, Vettel 67, Russell 70, Gasly 90, Dan Ric 102, Norris 115, Max 194, Lewis 225

Teams: Ferrari -101, Haas -28, Alfa 1, Williams 27, Aston 39, Alpine 41, Alpha 59, McLaren 139, Red Bull 168, Mercedes 183

Must I have both Ferrari drivers and both Ferrari cars in my team when prices move next round?
Yes. It's unclear where that sort of cash generation is going to happen again this season. Due to the points being weighted to the front, a mid-pack team becoming a front runner generates more cash than a back-marker becoming a mid pack team.

If Ferrari showed up but didnt qualify/race next round, Leclerc is expected to gain $3.1M, Sainz $0.7M and each car $2.3M. If they finish top 2, we could be looking at $5M-$6M gains.

Max can't score 194 can he?
Maximum score for a driver in a round is 170. So in theory you could trade Max now, knowing you could trade him back in cheaper next round. But clearly he has the pace to win so its a significant points v $ trade off. His DNF in Bahrain stays in the system for only one price change. His win in Saudi Arabia will stay in the system for two price changes.

Is Haas going to earn that much money?
Probably not. Their Bahrain performance could get them to $10M in the long term. But at $3M and with a negative break even, they are no risk for at least this round. And team's like Mercedes and McLaren will be losing value in that time.

Trades
I traded Alpine to Alfa last round, just to have cash ready in case required this round. That Alfa may go to a 2nd Haas car now. I'm inclined to hang on to Max for the moment.

Out: Alfa
In: Haas

Max C, Leclerc, Sainz, Magnussen
Ferrari, Ferrari, Haas, Haas
Bank $11.6M

Love this mate, great effort. Bottas DNF hurt me a bit. Going him to KMag.
I think we just hold Max all year round regardless of price atm. Unless obviously something like 2 DNFs in a row

Scored 806 for the round. Overall ranking is 115th and currently about 200 points behind the top team.

The top team has Red Bull, but not Max. Could be an idea for round 3 given Red Bull's BE is lower than Max's.

I noticed this too - but you're really locking yourself into leclerc C when the flexibility to choose C might be valuable

You are welcome. I'll get on to that once we've got the first two rounds completed. Prices only start changing after round 3.
Top 25 is a great result.
A lot depends on the results today. But seems at least 1 Ferrari will be there.[/QUOTE

814 this round.

Max (C)
Leclerc
Perez
Bottas

Ferrari x 2
Haas
Alfa Romeo

Considered Max to Sainz & Bottas to Russell but thinking will go Perez to Sainz and Bottas to Magnussen. Possibly also Alfa to Haas.

Anybody else concerned that Haas (and Magnussen) appear to have no pace this weekend? Was hoping for more than just one significant price rise.
Yep same here. Didn't really want to have to think too hard about the cash/points trade-off but here we are

Absolutely it is. I think I'm going to do it. My main decision now is whether I should have Bottas or Magnussen...
