Am interested in hearing a Cats fan view on the amount of game time Kersten is likely to get. Yet to debut and will be 21 in March next year so one would assume that he would be eased into the team, assuming he does get put into the team.
Will hopefully play 15-20 games next year.

Cheers!

Have added him to my 'keep an eye on' list over the preseason.
Performed well in the NAB cup this year as well so I was quite surprised he didn't debut early this year, but I think he had a few injuries.

Not sure if he's been discussed, but how about Sylvia next year?

Averaged 82 last year and being a bit of a downhill skier, at Freo he could possibly increase that by 15-20 next year. Does tend to miss a handful of games a year which is a bit off-putting though.

I got him for the second half of 2012. Was very good and will definitely consider as possibly an upgrade target as POD. Wouldn't start with him though

I did the same, does not seem to start that well, and you would wonder at this point how Freo are going to use him?

exactly, I think it's a wait and see.
Could always pick him up in 3rd week if he's really on fire.

I think the Swans might go after Shaun Hampson but more likely Billy Longer
Tippett will pretty much play forward most of the time.

With Mumford gone, Pyke is the only recognised Ruckman and logic says no team can survive with only one Ruckman with whatif injury strikes.
LRT can play ruck/fwd?

he should be back next season? swans have got options all over the park. almost feels unfair with their spine and mixture of midfielders. should be flag favs for 2014

yes he can. He may have to play Back next year as our forward line is too packed.
Flag favorites? I think we are in the Top 3 for the flag but not sure if we are favorites though.

Will be very good. I think their only area of concern is in uncontested ball and disposal efficiency. If they can open their opponents up in space a bit more (rather than their more traditional congested game style) and clean up their disposal inside 50 to Tippett and Franklin they will be very hard to stop.

If Jed Lamb keeps improving and Lewis Jetta plays more they'll be in good shape come finals time. Having said that, I don't think there is any stand out team at the moment. Any in top 4 will be capable of grabbing the flag, It wlll be interesting see how Swans talls cope. On paper it looks good but can Pyke hold down no.1 ruck for more of the time ? Can Tippett settle into a forward and no.2 ruck role and can Buddy get used to small SCG space and work with the other talls up forward well ?

No Mummy and no Bolton any more so bit of experience and direction missing. An experienced defender retired too and be interesting if they play Reid as a key backman to let Goodes play up forward with Buddy and Tippett. With their tells the sum of their parts will be interesting to see if it works to full effect or synergy is a problem. They did the right thing getting rid of Jesse White. Looks to me like Pyke has to do most of ruck himself and Tippett help out.

Be interesring to see how jess white goes at the pies.
Played 12 games this year with an average of 67.
possibility of being a fwd/ruck.
Will be watching his impact in the nab cup as there will be cheaper options with similar output

New club, new coach, could have a greater role considering he really only seemed like a fringe player at Sydney. Definitely one to watch early, you wouldn't think Collingwood would bring him to only be playing 12 games again.

You can't seriously consider Jesse White. He'll average in the 70s at best.
