So, fricken, stupid. I found it hard watching the Bris/Ess match with Bris in marone and Ess black (my T.V isn't as huge as you can get, but it's not small). And the AFL have signed off. Again, amatuers.
Pies jumper would still look decent if the solid black stripes were replaced with white to avoid this ridiculous colour clash.

Pies obviously didn't get the memo on what a clash jumper is and have taken it to literally mean "make a jumper that clashes". Why are they both wearing all black strips?

Going to be interesting, hopefully good Essendon shows up because at least then you can work out which team is which by the one who is trying and the Pies...

The rant thread was becoming too civil.
I would like to see the game become more complex in a general sense, but less reliant on timing and less reliant on luck.
For example, more positions. Key position players, wingmen, small forwards etc, still with all the dual positions.
But the best 6 scores of your 8 forwards count every week and a bench player can cover a donut on any line and you can still loop a captain. So you can sit down during the week and get as obsessed as you want with all the different machinations, but you don't have to be glued to your phone or computer waiting for team announcements or keeping an eye on scores in case you cop a donut.

Notice North play Melbourne next week. With North now in a red zone i’m not sure i’d be confident that game will go ahead as schedule

Gawn, Oliver, Ziebell, Powell just to name a few ...

“Victorians in these areas must follow local directions. If they leave to enter Victoria while red zones are in effect, they must quarantine at home for 14 days. If non-Victorians in red zones enter Victoria, they will stay in Hotel Quarantine until a return flight is arranged.”

Note: Game scheduled for Tassie which might be a factor
