So just found them

Fyfe, Cripps and Simos scores the last 3 times they have played all look uninspiring
Sounds like you're sorted, but Fanfooty is my preferred source. Note that the average calc for Gaz vs Dichmind was well out (never scored below 120, listed his average as 115), but generally I find it to be reliable, and it is easy to compare against other teams, see the spread (for VC looping), how it has changed over time, etc etc.

Bit of a random question, but a thought that occurred to me recently:

Am I right in that the 50 metre line has no impact whatsoever, except as a marker of distance to goal?

Spot on Darkie

Supergoal outside in NAB cup

I think in the U18 you need 2 or 3 players inside the arc at all times.

With talks of zones or "starting points" for centre bounces they may have more significance.

Can't see how "starting points" for stoppages and boundary throw ins working as it will take 30 seconds + for people to run back inside the arcs.

16 aside may reduce congestion , making the goal square bigger would just move the congestion.

Thanks mate ... that makes sense. It's a good point you make re starting points. I was thinking it can't take long for players to leave their positions and resume normal service, but the repeat running back to position could be quite problematic in terms of both time and endurance.

Don't go there for the expected Break Even and new player prices. Absolute rubbish data.

As for the original post, as a holder of Fyfe, Cripps and Simpson, I was pretty happy with their SC output today

I think it will look farcical the umpire saying "please all go back to your starting positions" before I throw up the ball , be like in the Under 9's

Wasn’t fully fit with his knee heading into last year and had calf issues heading into this season. Rumours of OP last season too. Looks like a player who needs feel fully fit to play well. Also, think there has been a role change - looks like he is playing more outside these days where he used to be a nice inside-outside mix. Initially, I think this was to protect him a little bit but perhaps the development of guys like Heeney have pushed him out a little bit as Sydney looked to evolve their midfield mix.
Needs a proper pre-season, no doubt a very good player. On a side-note, he is the player I have seen get absolutely smashed more than any other player in recent memory. Has been on the end of some big hits - Roughy, Robinson. Poor guy

To add to that he is small by today's mid standards and has lost a step (as you say likely because of injuries); the bigger mids that's less of an issue because they can obviously fall back on their size. Fellow Swan JPK has had his ups and downs but is still as slow as he was some years ago but is still pumping out some premium scores this season. The extra two inches or so in height and almost 20 kgs in weight makes a big difference when Hanners can't get to repeat contests like he used to be able to.

Ollie Wines has signed a new 4 year deal with the Power , expect he will be the new captain from next season.

Cheers mate

Certainly has had his fair share of injuries the last 2-3 seasons , that with the hits may have just worn out his body , I know he played his 200th recently.

Seems to be playing more wing this season and last as you have noted with Heeney getting more mid time.

Hewett is impacting and they have been developing Florent as a inside mid the last 6-8 weeks.

Papley was another that was training with the mids.

Hanners was running with Gaff a bit last week as well.

Still an amazing fall from where he was , hopefully he can get a full pre-season under his belt and get back to his glory days.

Might be one to watch for 2019 if he does get a full preseason and is around the $ 350 k mark

Not a good look for Thon
I didn’t mind that he flew the flag. It certainly did stop a few of their players in their tracks. Might lead to him getting suspended though :(

From what I’ve read the Filipino team quite frequently get into brawls..maybe not to that level but has happened on a few occasions before.

Apparently the Australian team were seen ‘defacing’ the court pregame by removing stickers of some sort which the locals were not appreciative of. Not sure if that was the catalyst but probably didn’t help.

I’m all for sticking up for your mates but not with knees and feet.
