I struggle a bit with De Goey, but as a Pies supporter I am happy to be proven wrong! He’s shown very little to suggest he’s a premium mid before this year, and his CBAs are actually down slightly versus last year (the big jump was in 2022).

Interesting you mention Merrett - he’s the premo I’m bringing in this week, and is one of few I’ve felt pretty good about, even before the Setters/Shiel news. He would be a clear first on that list for me.
Yeh likewise - probably neglected him as I'm also bringing him in this week as well. Hoping he recreates his form from the second half of last year in his run home this year.

I feel like ditching Briggs next week is going to be bittersweet.
Has surely been the pick of midyear midpricers.
I've seen a lot consider running him as a premo, but just don't think I can do it.

Darcy on the bench currently will return after this week.

Briggs probably has another $50k to make, but I think getting Dawson at an almost basement price is the preference - plus really need to get some League wins in the last 5 weeks of the year to secure my finals spot.

Looking at 4 trades next week to be "full premo" (Sheez F6, Ziebell D6).

Won't have a tonne of cover on the bench moving forward, but with 6 trades in my pocket hoping a few sideways one's will be enough to get me home. Will consider a Sheez/ Ziebs to Himmelberg potentially to have some coin in the back pocket.
