Hehe - as you were then, 40,000 more to go on that basis 😊
I'm still claiming the 1M'th post overall on SCS though! :D

Your post was 1020436, so currently there's around 10K posts per month on SCS, it will slow down during the off season a bit and that number also includes the General Discussion threads. I'm guessing it'll be some time in December when the SC forum hits 1M.

Really nice team with good cover.

I would seriously consider going Fyfe > Docherty (546K/ BE 93) who is Def/Mid which then opens up a link for you.

Doch has posted 3 x 100s in a row, Port then WCE next 2.
Thanks for that, yeah structurally it works well to get another defender in but..... im just not that keen on the options (Ryan, Doch and Houston) I've really wanted to get another mid premo in like Parish.

What does everyone think about the Top 8? Is it set or do you anticipate changes?

Almost surely going to change with how close it is this year and 6 games to go. It always changes.

I think the top 5 are probably safe. Saints have a tough last month and probably drop out, Dogs have a fairly easy draw, as do Essendon so both should stay in. I'd say the Blues are possibly best placed to knock the Saints out, but it's Carlton, both those clubs would be hard to follow with how often they lose games they should win. Maybe Sydney comes from way back, they seem to have a reasonable draw? Richmond maybe. Don't know, but I do know that my pre-season ladder is going to be way off.

I think the Saints will fall out of the 8 the way they're playing, and the Giants will make their way in, reckon the Crows should make their way in too as long as Laird's ok

Thank you both for sharing your views.

I haven't looked at the draw, but just on how the teams have performed this year I think that the 8 might just be set. Adelaide is probably the next-best team.

Just from a Tiger's perspective, I don't think that we'll make it. We are just too up and down with our performances, and we can't keep up our 'chaos' game for four quarters. Even if we did make it, it would likely be out in week 1. No Tommy Lynch means no chance at being competitive in September.

I'm struggling to see the Crows in the final 8.
They play 3 of the top 4 sides and would likely need to win one of those to have any hope (and win the other 3).
There is still a chance for them, but I think teams above them need to stumble.
The home loss to the Giants put a massive dent in their chances.
