The Magic Number (MN) which is what I think you're referring to is calculated to be approx. 5,497 based on 2018 players' prices.

So to use your example, 1 SC point is the equivalent of $5,497.
Thanks THCLT.
By the way, I like your logos, not sure what they mean, but powerful.

While the MN will start at 5498, it will reduce/vary during the season and so may be closer to 5000 around rounds 6/8
Thanks for that Ricky Bobby, it sounds a bit complicated, but it's helpful for me to select players in my starting team.

If you look closely...you could see the letter 'F' (though back to front), followed by the letter 'h' and a picture of a horse with wings.

Those who've been following my team on these fantasy sports platforms, I go by the name FLYING HORSES so I decided to create/design my own logo to suit.

Ha. I hadn't noticed until now that the maroon part was an F and a H. Well there you go!

Now that I know your team's name, I can see the meaning. You done very well to design that, very creative.
Not meaning to blow my own trumpet, but my logo is from one of my paintings that I have done in the past. Most logos that Super Coaches use have a personal meaning to each of them.

How's the art work going, or are you more into restorations these days? You used to own your own gallery in Melb and moved up to Bermagui if I remember right?

You know more about me then I know about you Philzsay :)
Art Restoration is keeping me busy these days, I love the challenge and getting paid for the hours one puts in, as opposed to doing a painting. I still enjoy painting, in between restoring.

Yeah, Bermagui's temperate weather is unreal. I play 9 holes of golf once a week, mainly for the exercise. It's a challenging championship golf course, but I really enjoy it.

Exactly 12 months ago, just before your lunch break, you posted on the 'Introduce Yourself...' thread.:p

The big move happens fairly early in the year (first price move in round three) and then it flattens out progressively, so you don't need to worry about it after about mid year in my view.

Personally I simply work on the basis that in the preseason, a typical player is priced at $5,500 per point, while during the season, they are fairly rapidly heading towards $5,000 per point ... so the latter is the number to focus on in my view, outside of when you're choosing your starting side.

Some people take the view that almost every player starts the year overpriced by 10% ($5,500/$5,000 -1), although given it applies to almost all players, I personally think it's simpler to just accept that most player prices will tend around 10% lower, and essentially forget about that and simply work off $5,000.

Yep it would have been that post, and I checked your website out when you posted it. I mainly remember due to Bermagui, I have family up in Tuross Head about an hour away I think and have visited Bermagui a few times.

Lovely place Tuross Head. Bermagui is moving up in the world, we have a Woolworths now. Some people like the convenience, while others sad to see progress.
