I don't want to be a tease (okay I do), but I might have some new features for you all :) in the next 3 months.

And No, no hints to anyone and only Rowsus (who I have the Code of Silence with!!) knows.

I know this is a cruel post and I'm excited, but I need to make sure it works before I share the info.

My bad :)

On fan footy fan planner 2014 is now available, they usually provide a decent idea of prices for next year

I like the FanFooty Planner.
you get to choose players who are no longer in the system as well like Seaby, Dennis-Lane, Cornelius.

Well this year we had that cool "Live Chat" feature.
what could beat that?

Maybe Jay and Rowsus' weekly podcast?

Also Travis Varcoe is listed at 115K who would be a lock if that would indeed be the price he starts with next year :-D
Even Angus Kurtz made the list, only heard that name because Swans tried to get him to train with them. Not sure if Angus actually nominated in the Draft at all.

I have purposely not done the team planner as I didn't want to give wrong information with prices and also positions. The problem with the guessing is that some of the injured players it's hard to know the discount rate.

Let's just say, I'm eager to release some changes but holding off.

Team planner with be up a few days after SuperGold releases prices and positions. It will be a better planner than the makeshift spreadsheet before :) and I think it is normally released a week before Xmas. So 3 more weeks is my guess.

No podcast. But I'm confident people will enjoy some of the changes.

3 more weeks ladies and gentlemen :) Although I wouldn't call the team planner a surprise, but let's just say it's an upgrade from the previous one.

In addition, I hopefully will put one of the minor advancement to the site this week. Just a minor thing, but still nice.

Jolly seems like a grumpy old man. How many players would play 200+ games and win two flags yet still be so bitter? I'd guess that only about 0.5% of AFL players would have that kind of success.
It is a bit strange how Jolly carries on. There may be truth to what he says but I just don't think it does him or anyone else any good by using the media to share some of stuff he shares that most present and past players keep private and away from media sources. Jolly has always seemed a decent guy to me when heard him talk but the stuff from written media makes me lost a bit of respect for him.

Anyway, I guess he is just not dealing with the ending of his careeer well. Players are a long time retired and he is not the first and won't be the last that struggles with the transition from being an AFL player to no longer be a part of it. It s a big change in life to get use to.

I dont find it alarming at all that a club has not renewed the contract of a 32 year old ruckman who has played 13, 17 and 9 games in the last 3 seasons

With Reiwoldt's contract being extended until the end of 2015 (and we can safely assume he will retire after this), here's hoping he can play the 41 games he needs to reach 300.
