Huge news - Gold Coast captain Tom Lynch to miss the rest of the season after succumbing to a posterior cruciate ligament injury. @FOXSportsNews
Bad news for Lynch and his family and the Gold Coast fans but looks like my boy Crossley has a good chance of providing RUC cover all year now!

Also, big chance that Lynch has played his last game for the Suns now.

The end of Tom Lynch at GC?

With him & Sam Day injured... And Crossley BOG on the weekend. Surely will play now and make some cash or be cover for the rest of the year.

From AFL.com Justin Chadwick, Jun 28, 2018 3:58PM

"WEST Coast will be without its three best forwards for the most crucial part of its home and away season after Mark LeCras became the latest to succumb to injury.

LeCras will be sidelined for a yet-to-be-determined period after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his injured right wrist on Wednesday..."

Terrible luck for WCE and it's forward structure... could potentially be season over for West Coast.

With Fyfe out and Heeney sounding unlikely, this could be an interesting week coming up. If Crouch misses that could be a disaster for some teams!

Don't have him but I know others here do.

Liam Ryan was involved in a car crash last night but seems to be unhurt. WC officials are with him now, won’t train today. Details murky at this stage. Would say it’s highly doubtful he will be available against GWS.

ST KILDA midfielder Jack Steele has escaped suspension for his tummy tap on Melbourne star Clayton Oliver, slapped with a $1500 fine by match review officer Michael Christian.
Oliver fell to the turf after being struck by Steele just seconds before a centre bounce, taking several seconds to gather his breath before re-joining the play.
However, Steele got away without a ban, with the Saints youngster charged with misconduct and subsequently only hit with a fine.

North Melbourne ruckman Todd Goldstein escaped penalties for a pair of incidents, including one where he bumped Essendon midfielder Zach Merrett late and another where he caught defender Mark Baguley in the head on the stroke of half-time. Neither incident was cited by Christian.
Hawthorn captain Jarryd Roughead also escaped punishment for a dangerous tackle on Greater Western Sydney youngster Jacob Hopper, which took place over the boundary line.

Just six players earned fines over the weekend, with no suspensions in either the Saturday or the Sunday games.
Adelaide captain Taylor Walker was hit with a $1500 fine for striking West Coast midfielder Luke Shuey, while Gold Coast ruckman Brayden Crossley was fined $2000 for rough contact.
Port Adelaide duo Chad Wingard and Sam Powell-Pepper were fined $1000 each for careless contact with an umpire, as was West Coast midfielder Jack Redden.
Richmond defender Nick Vlastuin had already accepted a one-match ban for striking Luke Parker on Thursday night, while Sydney star Lance Franklin escaped a suspension for catching Alex Rance in the throat.

Love all the new emojis to express in the form of art how crap I am at my most time consuming hobby. Do people still play Dungeons and Dragons?
