I'd say they're erring on the side of caution with the compressed schedule, so hopefully he's back in a week, unless he actually does play contrary to this report. ?
Damn, I trust McGowan on his info and research on these sort of things (more than the bloke who threw it in at the end of the news report).
I'll swing him into the MIDs and get both new recruits Whitfield and Smith into the FWD line, with Rankine at F6.
Anyone got any mail on Dunkley? I know the AFL injury site lists him as 3-5 weeks... but there's always someone listed as 3-5 weeks who suddenly returns in 1-2!

Dogs play 4 games in 16 days which starts tomorrow so I think he will miss all those. Probably pushing for the Adelaide game on the 16th (8 days rest between rounds 11 and 12).
- Rookie forward Jack Mayo will miss the rest of Season 2020 after rupturing his left ACL in Sunday’s scratch match against Carlton.
- Josh Battle will miss at least one week following an accidental head clash with Paddy Ryder in Monday night’s match against Adelaide.
