Cant justify putting yourself in a position for this to occur, unfortunately it’s a distraction the club doesn’t need, like the last couple of years....
IT does happen to players and people alike..... sure to hurt the team this weekend
Whether they should be out is another discussion but off 3 months locked in a hub I have some sympathy
for all who went through it.

the issue is why get physical about it. state your case and walk away. Probably it was some loud mouth tosser trying to make a name for himself. who will feel vindicated now and learn nothing. by the way Shai, i am a tosser who just brought you in to my team. i am upset as well.

felt good on bolton over zorks, now feeling like some bloke who kept danger after rnd 1. **** that was me as well. bolton going for titch RAGE TRADE :mad::devilish::devilish::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop:

Was up to date with this thread before I left for the gym after work a few hours ago. When I came back and saw the thread had 2-3 more pages...I just knew it wasn't good news.

So D6 Murphy, D7 L.Jones and D8 Highmore. Absolute cluster **ck. Have to cop yet another donut.

Was deciding a couple of weeks ago whether to bring in Zorko or Bolton. Ended up going with Zorko but could just as easily have gone with Bolton.
This season is a poisoned chalice ⚗️📿☠️

With the ACL injury to Keeffe who do the Giants play in defence now? Does a Himmelberg/Finlayson swing back or could they let Riccardi develop his new role in the 1's over the 2's. Davis and Haynes are out injured atm or they may have to blood a debutant.
Jacob Wehr would be a good result.

Have no problem with it, both hadn't had a drink & responded to Dan's girlfriend being abused.
Not ideal but happens every day in real world,99% of people would have had this happen.
These guys are not role models, simply young men who play footy.
I'm finally in the 1%...

Simple fact is it happens to 99% of the dickheads who can't control their behaviour (sober or drunk doesn't matter).

It doesn't happen to the 95% of the population who aren't dickheads.

Would be very surprised if it was the result though. Undersized HBF for a genuine KPD isn't likely. It might be Riccardi though after his reserves efforts and maybe another forward playing defense could be viable

Do we actually know who started the physical side of the fight?

Does it matter? Dickheads escalate, normal people don't. Which is better? being the idiot who swings first or the idiot who swings second? Especially when you end up with a broken wrist that's just sort of important to your livelihood...
I think it matters quite a bit. I appreciate that as a professional athlete there is more to consider but if it was self defence that is quite a different situation.

Swinging punches is not self defense, especially as a professional athlete who is almost certainly bigger and stronger than whoever you're fighting. Swinging punches is an idiot escalating a situation.

Pretty sure if someone was having a go at my wife or daughters and they escalated to the point it got physical, it’s on like Donkey Kong sorry!
I would just hope they did try to walk away from the situation... there will always be a few drunks trying to act tough with their mates and have a go at an AFL player... it’s not right but it’s to be expected and the players would know the best thing to do is leave regardless of the provocation
